About
Dip into Korean bath culture at this multi-story upscale version of the traditional Jimjilbang. Located in one of the world’s largest shopping complexes, you can soak, scrub, and sweat it out at one of the many themed baths and spas. An electronic bracelet keeps track of food, drinks, and services purchased—your ticket is valid for a couple of hours based on how much you spend. Spaland is excellent for solo travelers, couples, and groups of friends, but children under a certain age are not permitted to enter. Visit on weekday mornings for fewer crowds and cheaper entry. – Tripadvisor

    Glad That We Visited
We called in late night after 7pm. We weren’t expecting to get discounted entry but grateful for it. The time just flew by and we came out wishing that we had longer to try out all the facilities. Could easily fall asleep 💤 in any of the heated quiet rooms. New and modern so don’t go expecting a traditional Korean experience. We would return

Great place, but needs better customer service
Had a nice time at spa land. I enjoyed the multiple temperatures of each bath and sauna. It was clean. I feel like a pamphlet with directions would be useful. (Place shoes in locker, the key to locker is your pass, bathe, utilize tubs, etc) we also encountered an issue where my friend stepped on an earring barefoot. We alerted customer service and they disregarded it. Yes, it went into her foot and caused her to bleed.

A great relaxing experience at Spaland
You can easily spend a couple of hours at Spaland to relax and to recharge. It is accessible on the ground floor of the Shinsegae department store when you can experience dozens of saunas, heat rooms & last but not the least an ice room. You will need to wear the clothes provided to you. But in the warm batsh side, you will not need them...

    Variety of Hot/Cold Choices
Spaland is in close proximity to Subway. The locker rooms, "onsen", relaxation areas and snack bar catered to my needs over the 4hr session. There are indoor and outdoor onsens as well as sauna, chilled rooms, Ion rooms & relaxation space & heated mass gathering area. Went on a weekend evening and although was crowded, we enjoyed ourselves.

    Great Find!
We are so glad someone recommended this to us! We don’t normally go for spa-type activities while traveling, but still had a fantastic time. We ended up staying the full four hours we were allotted with our (very reasonable) entry fee.

    GO!!
Absolutely amazing time! It was so big and so much to do to relax. Even their shampoo and conditioner in the showers were amazing, my hair has never been so soft. Really recommend getting a body scrub, I’ve never felt so clean haha! The hot baths was a new experience in itself as you’re nude but you get over that part VERY fast - I definitely recommend going here. I will definitely be back!

The place was big and the bath house takes some getting used to. You get two tiny towels and a run down shorts and a t shirt. After your bath, you can roam around in the communal areas. The ramen cafe was interesting but the spa was costing around A$100 for a 60 minutes facial

I had a great time at SpaLand, there’s multiple stories full of saunas, foot baths, massage chairs, etc. the outdoor foot baths was something I haven’t experienced at other jimjilbangs. There was also numerous hot spring baths in the men’s section. Start off with the lower temperatures and make your way up. The full body scrub was interesting, definitely a cultural experience. and when I say full body, it really is FULL body…
The only downside of this place is that you can only stay for four hours whereas other jimjilbangs I’ve been too, you can stay as long as you want and if they’re open 24/7 you can normally sleep over, which is not the case here… hence the four stars…

Spa Land is really a great experience if you want to spend the day relaxing and taking advantage of Korean bath house and sauna culture. Note that children under 7 can’t go in. But really great for friends and couples.

I had a very bad experience upon entering the place after getting the key. Not understanding Korean and the rude lady at the gantry not under English did not help to mitigate the situation. She loudly and rudely told me off impatiently insulting my intelligence saying “ This is key. This is paper “ when trying to tell me to use the key. Obviously she thinks I have no intelligence to differentiate between the two. Damn insulting. I had to counter her rudeness by reporting this incident. I insisted on taking her name 전주현 for the company to counsel her for the ill behaviour.
It would be good for the Spaland to position someone who understands and speaks English there to help people like me.

Beautiful spa with many different saunas. But way too crowded and too little options too cool off. The bathing area (women only / men only) was really nice with many different hot water baths and plenty of showers.
