We booked the tour with Kreol Services, €90 per person, including barbecue. Great snorkeling stop at St. Pierre at the beginning (order changed due to weather forecast). St. Pierre itself is an absolute postcard motif, almost kitschy. The guided hike across Curieuese Island was very interesting, well guided, bilingual explanations (F/E), with lots of information about the flora and fauna. The barbecue at lunchtime was also good, of course not a luxury meal (fish, chicken, sauces, rice, salad, fruit, soft drinks), but absolutely delicious and sufficient. Particularly friendly tour guides, all in all, absolutely recommended!

It is one of the islands that is absolutely worth a visit if you are on Praslin.
Giant turtles, beautiful colors of the sea and a panoramic trail. Entrance to the park costs 20 euros but I recommend you contact Ziblo boat charter, which organizes a daily tour with BBQ and snorkeling

Really a fantastic island with just turtles living there. It is very nice to see how they are treating the animals here.
We were on a tour, where they left us on one side, and they went around the island to prepare some bbq, and then we had to walk for an hour through the mangrove. That was a very nice experience. I would recommend people finding a guided tour, where you can see the entire island like that.

Usually when you visit this island, it's part of a half day cruise, combined with a visit to another small island for snorkeling.
There is no much to see there: the turtles, a small trail that leads to what looks like a reef, and there is a small beach in the southern area of the island. If you're a couple (or a group) you have to visit this beach and spend some time there.

As mentioned in other reviews, unfortunately don't book King Creole or the meeting point pizzeria!
A Mr. Quentin gave us a different price than the one on the bill, then we had to pay an additional 500 rupees deposit, which we unfortunately never got back. (But this is not the additional entrance fee for the island)
The island itself is beautiful and the turtles are nice, but the beach is not inviting to linger, even for less than 3 hours, the water in the bay is very stale. Saw sea urchins, small sharks and rays.
Snorkeling afterwards was OK but actually only a little further in the same bay.

We took a trip here this week and dis the hike. You need trainers, we saw many people try it in flip flops and it looked dangerous. Tortoises were great. Paddling was good too as it was calm, unlike Anse Volbert.

I was really looking forward to the trip, but you can only feel sorry for the animals. The turtles' offspring are kept in a small building. They're basically stepping on each other's toes. And this is called a breeding station. Disgusting.
The adults live among flying garbage and sometimes look sick. And then there are idiot tourists who sit on the turtles. It can only make you feel bad. And absolutely no one is doing anything about it. I thought the Seychelles were exemplary when it came to animal welfare?
Even the beautiful beach and nature of the island can no longer have a positive influence on this sad experience!
By the way, there is almost nothing left of the corals and fish around Curieuse and St. Pierre. Which is no wonder when creatures and nature are treated this way here.

This is the main stopping point of our island hopping trip. I'm pleasantly surprised to find out and to enjoy the trail on this island. It is nice and offers variety of plants and scenery. You will see so many giant tortoises wondering on the road. They are probably so used to people that they don't shy away the sight of tourists. The BBQ lunch comes in just the right time after snorkeling and trail walking. The beach is nice and pretty as well.

This is an interesting island that we visited on a small boutique cruise (Crystal Espirit). The beach is an easy place to arrive to the island from. You can see a lot of fish around but I would not call it an outstanding quality beach to visit. The main attraction is are the turtles and the hike.
The first hike can take you around about half the island with not much elevation change. There is a wooden bridge that goes for quite a while because you are going over mangroves and high tide will cover the ground. The second hike is much more strenuous. It is about 30 minutes up and over the mountain with a significant elevation change. It is up hill the entire way to the top. Once you go down the other side, you will be rewarded with an incredible beach that will be virtually empty. Bring some towels and your camera and hang out for half a day. The waves can get big but the nice thing is that there is lots of shade and a nice breeze. There is also a freshwater stream coming down and into the ocean.
This island is good for a full day but probably not much more because there are much better beaches around if that is what you are looking for.

Turtle Island, I wish I never had to leave this place. Wonderful, think they can live over 200 years o when the tsunami came in 2004 they felt it a few hours before o walked (slowly) further up the island. Went on a boat trip from Praslin here, hiked across the island with a knowledgeable guide, buffet lunch, then saw dolphins off the island and snorkeled at a nice reef.
