We hired a water taxi right on Cote D’Or to get over to Curieuse. It was very easy and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on Curieuse spent with the tortoises as well as our hike along the trail to the other side of the island.

I've visited the Galapagos so it's hard to fairly evaluate a rare personal contact with tortoises. It was still a heart-warming experience. While the Galapagos turtles are bigger and more difficult to access, the Seychelles turtles were readily accessible. This allowed for far more interaction....More

We went with a rubber boat to the island, therefore we landed just at the beginning of the sand. A bit of wet feet. Not really difficult other than to jump out of the rubber boat with the help of the other people.
