Although the village is very touristy, it is laid back. The main restaurant, our diving centre (Octopus) and our self catering apartment (Le Bedier) and the beach where all in walking distance. Nice little shops and supermarkets. fairly clean and not too many dogs.

This is 20 mins from Praslin island which is very good for snorkeling. If you step on the rocks you will see Gekkos which is special species for Seychelles. Do not forget to take your swimming shoes if you want to step on. This rocks...More

Anse Volbert isn't a bad beach but I prefer our local beach in Australia. The snorkelling was OK but not spectacular.

Nice & secured beach to hang out, can be quite populated since lots of hotels & guest houses around. The best place to get a boat operator for island hopping. But do look for licensed ones as requested by our hotel.

.....but honestly nothing special. The positive aspect is you'll never find it crowded. No special activities here.

Is probably one of the best beaches I have ever seen!!....unfortunately I went there only for a day but the weather luckily was perfect and we could enjoy all of it! I strongly recommend a trip to Praslin!
