The reserve gives an opportunity for a number of walks of different length. We only went on the shortest one, but still saw some interesting plants and animals.

You definitely need a guide to explore valle de mai else it will be a boring trip. Also it is very expensive and not worth the visit. Nothing special in valle de mai.

The two highlights of Vallee de Mai are the high concentration of Coco de Met native only to Praslin and Curiouse islands and the elusive and rare black parrot, the national bird of the Seychelles. Several kilometres of well marked paths and trails make this...More

Seychelles is a pretty expensive destination, and this is the place where you can save some money by skipping it. The tour consists of hiking the jungle and seeing the Coco de Mer. Both of them you can do it double cheaper, even for free....More
