We came here as part of the typical excursion with barbecue on the beach. A bit expensive but definitely worth it. Take your time to walk around the island, enjoy the views and refresh in the clear water. The back side is nice and isolated, while the front gets all the crowd.

Visited this island as part of a glass bottom boat trip. Well worth a visit. Loved the walk round the island and seeing the tortoises roaming freely.

Came there as a part ofbboat excursion to Natiobal marine park. Small island, nice views, a lot of turtles. There is a 20-minute walking route aroubd the island. Nice beach, but see is shallow there. I do recommend to attend the island.

I guess you really have to visit this attraction being one of the most visited on the island. The giant tortoises being the star of the show. Not the very best park I've been to but nevertheless a pleasant day was spent.

Visited Moyenne as part of Masons Reef Safari tour which in itself is pretty dire apart from the visit to the late Brendon Grimshaws island . We liked this bit and the walk around the island and the little museum dedicated to Brendon. Its a beautiful little island and I would suggest you save the £100 plus per person for... More

This was over an hour away from mainland. We stopped by in he coral area for fish feeding, and then reached this place. This is an island, a small mountain and can just relax for an hour or so and can have the view from the top. One attraction here is two giant tortoises which are 100+ years.

There are lots of boats leaving from the Marine Charter. The Catamaran launched by a company called Masons looked like the best tour. We booked through 7 South which included transfers from hotel, lunch, snorkelling for 120 Euro each. I would consider this to be an expensive trip and would consider other options. I would suggest hiring a small car... More

We traveled to Moyenne Island via cruise boat with a large group of people. The island is 4.5 kilometres (2.8 mi) away from the main island of Mahe. Besides the history of island, the island hosts around 120 big tortoises. They roam around the island freely. It is small island and you can have a round trip of island via... More

Other than the history of the island- seeing all those giant tortoises walking around freely, the great views and great walk around the island- including a nice beach for a swim
