Just follow the signs in the direction of the garden and you will have to go up a steep hill until the complete end. It is totally worth it and for us a totalust see. Admission fee is 125 SCP for an adult. You will get a map and a short explanation which paths you have to follow and then... More

Make sure you visit here and remember your camera. The fruit bats just seem to hang out here and our plentiful for those photos. The views looking back down along the coast are breath taking. The special Rum that they sell here is well worth buying. Only wish we bought more. No cash needed here they take debit / credit... More

Very nice and organized place. A lot of details in writing on the spices and a good view on the sea. At the end of the tour i bought an espresso of Illy. The price of the espresso is 87 Ruppies which is 6.12 Euro!!!!!! Why????

Picturesque, 85-acre working plantation situated high in the rainforest valley of South Mahe; large variety of spice plants, tropical fruit trees, essential oil plants and endemic palms. We visited as part of a group from a cruise ship and arrived later in the afternoon. The little shop was just about to close, and had to be persuaded to stay open... More

We spent 2 hours exploring the garden and loved it. The map is a bit hard to follow and not all the numbers are easy to find but if you're not too rigid about it and just take it as it comes it's a very interesting experience. And the coco de mer here are stunning with very informative plaques which... More

Don't bother going on a herded trip to Praslin to see the Coco de Mer, see a number here in comfort, plus get to hold one and see giant tortoises

These gardens are situated near the mountainous centre of the island and are definitely worth a visit even if you are not a tropical plant but like I am. There are a great number of species to see with an excellent selection of Coco de Mer palms and other endemic species. The restaurant serves delicious food with excellent views from... More
