Short (1.5 hours) but interesting. Good path with written information. Wonderful views from top. Amazing the descent to shaft and the walking in the tunnel, once used to get water from spring. On the walking path, plenty of fresh water from clean taps.

A little hike up to the overlook where you can see for miles and miles. A strategic site for historical traders and travelers coming from Africa to Europe and Asia. Wear comfortable walking shoes and cool clothing.

Interesting archaeological sight, considered to be Armageddon. In some places, there were horse silhouettes to show how the royal stables would have functioned. It was worth the trip.

Many civilizations have been uncovered here, one on top of another. The view of the Megiddo valley is thought provoking when you read what is to take place here. The other highlight was going down the tunnel they dug to get water. Amazing.
