Although it has a moderate verity of products to offer (spices, candies, coffee and some cooking products), it's reputation does not deserve it. The prices are high compared to other places, and you can't really find special or unique items, that deserve a visit. The only thing I can think of is the knowledge this place has a long history,... You can find most of the products all over Israel, but the combination of the history of the place, the welcoming attitude and story of Knaza family together with the very large variety of products makes it very interesting experience.

Behind the market of Nazareth this place sells all kind of spices, coffee, etc for almost a double of the price you can get in this kind of business everywhere in Israel. Waste of money for those who live in Israel, waste of time for tourists. Not accessible for disabled and if you have respiratory problems just skip this attraction

Operating in a historic building for more than 100 years, the "Elbabour Galilee Mill" in this wonderful shop is reputed to grind out the best za'atar in the world. The very welcoming Kanaza family also offers coffee and cardamom, saffron and a host of other exotic spices, candies, delicious halvah, and more. Not to be missed!

This gem is hidden in a narrow alley, offering an enormous variety of spices, candy and other goodies. Take the time to stroll in the different rooms, try the nuts and grains, dare to sample the odd looking sweets and check out the kitchen tools. Last but not least - get something for the folks back home!

I loved this place. The mill has been in one family for a number of generations and is still fully functional. The place is a wonderland of grain, ground spices, sweets, coffee and Israeli pottery. It was justifiably crowded with locals and tourists but a real treat for the senses. The name Babour is derived from vapour and refers to... More

While walking sidestreets from Mary's well to the Basilica of the Annunciation, we incidentally found this place. Through a ancient door, steps lead down to the shop - the owners are very friendly, easily available for a chat. The variety of spices s incredible - if you leave without buying some, you certainly will regret and decide to come back... More

My deep gratitude and thank you for thoughtful, caring and informative tour on December 2, 2013. Both Sylvia, our tour guide, and Zaki ( our driver) were always ahead of other tours giving us a VP treatment and passage turning a regular tour into unforgettable adventure. It is so important to be at the places for a moment alone to... More
