So cool, the acoustics are so good that concerts are still held at this location. We wandered around and climbed the performers stairs to the stage...I guess some things just never change that much.

Great to see how this should have been in the early days. They still use it, so it could be that there is a modern stage build in front of the theatre. This is in sept and oct.

Great venue! Totally modernized without losing the feel of 2000 years ago. Even with all the gear for the concert one could feel and hear the sea.

The impressive Roman theatre, built some two thousands years ago, is an impressive sample of the works made byKing Herod the Great. The place is still hectic and leading Israeli stars are performing there regularly. A must see sight, better with a tour guide

The place is great to walk around and see the impressive architecture. I would not advise going to a concert there. During performances the theater is very crowded and you literally sitting next to someones feet. Not very pleasant.
