Nipah beach is a very beautiful beach with clean sea, white sand and beautiful scenery. This place is perfect for swimming for children. besides that the activities that can be done are snorkeling and fishing. on sunday many local people come to this place so it is quite crowded. If you go to Lombok, take the time to visit Nipah Beach.

We were at Nipah on Boxing Day. We arrived at 9am and we’re supposed to leave at 12pm to have lunch elsewhere but we ended up staying there until 7pm! We met Amonk who does some snorkelling there and has a go pro. After I paid him the money for the snorkel gear and the go pro he offered to go out with me so he could take me to see the Lion Fish and he could take photos of me. We saw 4 Turtles while we were out there for around 15 minutes. My 2 year old daughter napped in one of the local restaurant huts, we had fried fish and in the afternoon we played volleyball. It was an awesome day and Amonk was a big part of that.

Nipah Beach is where the locals swim. Great little waves for the kids to play in safely. The water is clear and warm for swimming. There are a few boats in and out but the dont come near the swimmers. There are many warung on the beach selling snacks, kopi lombok, tea and coconuts. After 5 pm there is the famous Ikan Bakar everwhere

We had a great time swimming in the clear blue water at Pantai Nipah. Loads of shacks on the beach selling delicious grilled fish and veges. 10 minute taxi ride from Senggigi. Lovely little outing- not a tourist in sight.

Lombok has excellent beaches often quite isolated. To see the best of Lombok you need the advice of locals that are honest and can provide suitable transport. I was fortunate to choose Puji Homestay, a family run "hostel" that also do daytrips/transport. Dika and Wayan are very helpful, knowledgeable, honest and were a pleasure to get to know. I highly recommend them to you !

We came here to snorkel and were not disappointed! No need to pay here to access the beach. When sunset and low tide came, the corals were higher than water level. Locals came to search for seafood.

Took at taxi from Senggigi only about twenty minutes drive away. A beach for locals selling grilled fresh fish. Lots of boats parked on the sand. Unfortunately lots of rubbish around which ultimately ends up in the sea. If lucky you can spot turtles poking their heads up in the sea.

Pantai Nipah is an ideal beach getaway for those who like to enjoy quiet afternoon with family or friends. When I visited the beach with friends, there were only a few travellers and local families. Compared to other beaches in West Lombok, Nipah is less known and you have enough space to relax. We ordered food at the famous seafoodcourt, and every dish was very delicious. But it was quite expensive, so next time I would prefer bringing my own lunch.

We stayed at a villa just behind the beach for two nights.
The beach itself is very clean, including the water. Different to just down the road at Senggigi, where the water was full of rubbish. Behind the beach is a different story. Lots of rubbish strewn everywhere.
There are numerous warungs all up the beach, selling and cooking fresh local seafood over coconut husks. We had some awesome food, that was less than 1/3 of the cost of the nearest restaurants. The warungs are traditional, local places, so don't expect a clean restaurant. The food is prepared and cooked in the open and you sit in a little open but to eat. In saying that, we enjoyed some of the best food we had experienced in Lombok.
Would recommend this as a place to visit on your trip to Lombok. Enjoy an awesome feed on the beach, if you can get past your western standards.
