The waterfall is located just by the roadside on the main road from Padang to Bukittinggi, which was really easy to find and required no effort to reach it. This is a legendary waterfall, not too high but pretty good as a spot to take picture.

The location of this waterfall by the roadside makes it an easy short break on the way to Bukittinggi. However, due to its location, anybody who wishes to visit the waterfall has to park the car by the roadside. Since there is a constant traffic on the narrow road, walking towards the waterfall or back to your car could be a bit dangerous. Please be mindful of your children too when getting out of the car. Despite that, the waterfall is worth a visit. Walking towards the waterfall requires a bit of climbing some steep stairs. Seeing the water gushes down and feeling the wind blows energized me on my long journey to Bukittinggi.

Name tagged by local management as 'Air Mancur', we discussed along the way back about this unusual wording...but clearly it is Air Terjun!

It is not worth going out of Padang only for this waterfall. Plan a trip to Padang Panjang or Bukittinggi and you will find it on the left side of the road, where you see a lot of warungs, cars, buses and people. They charge to see it closer, but you can see it for free from the rail road on the left side of the road. It is not worth paying to go closer because it's crowded most of the times and you can't swim anyway. Too bad it is so accessible to public.

This waterfall is very easy to reach, just on the side of the road between Padang and Bukittinggi. Nice valley view sorrounded by virgin forest. Too many small shops and access way design was not so good.
