The bridge was very crowded, since it's so popular in Batam. We wish we came there for sunset, then I'm sure the impression would've been better. You can read our travel blog about our experience in Batam at a2kmedia.net

I conclude this is the top spot for picture taking. Everything is average in Batam - just a good place to visit if you want to experience a little part of Indonesia.

Had some time to kill before heading back to the airport so I decided to visit. Overall, it's a normal bridge. Yes, it's pretty huge and it's considered a landmark you have to visit when you're there. But nothing really special about the bridge itself. The best thing is the view. I was there during a cloudy weather and it still offer a nice one. Imagine going there on a sunny day.

This is one of the breath-taking place with splendid scenery! It takes about an hour to drive to the end of the bridge. Ensure you hire a trusted driver here as the bridge is located deep into the rural roads.

Batam has ignorance people. They don't bother to think it is dangerous to park 100+ vehicles on the bridge.
The bridge itself has a beautiful view. Like to spend some times there.

The travelling time I recalled more than 45 minutes. Imagined to and fro it was a waste of bloody time? Upon arrival, what you get and what you see just a bridge nothing much else; unimpressive and definitely not worth the trip. I'd rather spend my time shopping at Batam City Square or Nagoya Hills malls.

Nice view of the ocean and villages, just like other bridges but worth to stop for pictures, street foods and relax. Fee for parking.

This bridge is popular for tourist when they visit Batam, but we do not understand why, as there isn't anything special about this bridge.
If you happens to drive passed on the way to other attractions, it is good to stop for a few photos, but we do not recommend to just drive there as one of the attraction point.

The bridge is not only made from steels but also contains with the history of Batam Islands. The view from the peak of selayang padang park is beautiful and memorable place.

Which bridge is connecting to singapore and batam link?
Written 2 February 2016
The Barelang Bridge is a chain of 6 bridges of various types that connect the islands of Batam, Rempang, and Galang, Riau Islands. Barelang also refers to the islands themselves, which are all administratively part of the municipality of Batam. The smaller islands of Tonton, Nipah, and Setotok (considered parts of the Batam island group) connect Batam and Rempang.
