A bit dirty and not well maintains, however it still contains lots of historical stuff and you can feel the history. Maintainance would be the main issue and if they can fix it, it could be the same as keraton in yogyakarta

A must visit place for tourist while going to Solo city. It has a museum which showing the kings of Surakarta kingdom heritage

I would say that this building is the icon of Surakarta due to the richness of its history. However, maintenance of the overall complex should be intensively increased in order to capture more visitors

Last December I joined my school tour to Surakarta. I was amazed by the tour guide. He is so friendly and fun. We learn how the palace was made and some fun facts from the history of palace. I enjoyed my school visit.
