Bogor Palace is another home for the President of Indonesia besides the state palace. The president often uses the Bogor palace for state activities. Bogor Palace will be opened to the public during certain seasons.

Usually, the palace opens during the school holidays. When opened, visitors can look around and observe the contents of the palace. Usually visitors will be accompanied by a guide (school group/tour group)

Love the weather and the big park so much, and the ambience as well. You can take photo as much as possible outside the Palace.

We were on a tour and went to Bogor Botanical Gardens. During our walk our guide told us about the history of the gardens and how the now President lives in the Presidential Palace in the gardens.
We loved the beauty of the palace and its wonderful location flanked by trees, lovely gardens and ponds with beautiful water lilies. If I were president this would be the palace I would chose.

It has a bit of history and the palace looks nice from the outside. The gardens surrounding area is very nice as well. Wish I could see the inside but not possible.

We took a train from Jakarta (sudirman station) to bogor by about an hour Around 9am. Upon arrival, we booked a grab to rumah air for lunch( most convenient for us roam around the place and the price is quite ok) , Bogor has a narrow road so its quite traffic but still fine. We had a wonderful lunch in rumah air afterwards we had a stroll on near this resto has this holland/dutch themed place like you see in the farmhouse bandung and later we went to the garden-botanical garden to eat dinner, it was raining that time so we hadnt got the chance to walk around botanical garden in the afternoon. Went back to Jakarta via train around 9pm. Tiring but worth it

Basically, the day i went to this place there is some attraction thing to do which is the horse ride out of the palace. I wanted to enter the palace at first but unlucky the palace was closed down at the moment. Then I changed to had some ride around the town. Nice view! Fascinating! I won’t regret to come again next time.

My family and I had a morning stroll here and the air was fresh. If a small cafe is built at a corner of the garden, it would be more interesting and fun for visitors to sip on their coffee/tea/juice, having a light snacks while enjoying the serenity, relaxing or reading.
