Used to come here for a relaxing steam soak, fresh air (Bandung was terribly polluted then) and great views.

Easy to access by Beckak or chaffeur-driven car. Better than trying to drive in any Javanese city, I can tell you from experience; no such thing as a highway code here folks! The... read more

Easy to access by Beckak or chaffeur-driven car. Better than trying to drive in any Javanese city, I can tell you from experience; no such thing as a highway code here folks! The busses are ghastly affairs with people crammed in, the roof filled up too. It was really a peaceful treat to come to these springs soak, steam and... More

The "free" (not really free cause you have to pay entrance fee when you entered the area) pool is so crowded. If you want a better pool that not too crowded, you have to pay extra cost, around 25k IDR to 45k IDR. Even though the hot spring is good, this extra cost is a bit annoying. Not to say... More

Went to the ciater hot spring and there were massuers around offering various kind of massage. I took the foot reflexology, while some of my friends took the whole body massage. Quite an experience, although i feel that the massage was a little bit painful.

This could be a nice place to stay at, but it needs a lot of maintenance. The tiles of the pools need replacing, and so do the umbrellas around the pools. Changing rooms are dark and far from clean.

Quite fun and enjoy for me. And the ticket price affordable so far. But you need to arrange your trip to go with your friends car or rent a car, that could be easier for you to come to Ciater hot springs. I love this place, not to crowd I think.

Visit on a weekday so the place was not crowded. Enjoyed the dip in the hot water and there was massager available for a fee. It gets less hot at the lower pool and was advised not to soak too long as the high sulpheric content. Feel refresh afterwards.
