Nice place with a lot of students on holiday excursion

I like the dual language, there's English version available and lots of crystal and interactive medias.

It was my second visit to the place. I must say it improves a lot. I remembered when i visited the museum back on 2005, it was poorly preserve. I recommend this place for children to learn in fun way. I got many thing to be learned for, so i guess it will benefit the children more.

This is a good outing for the family. All the exhibits and displays were very informative, especially on the samples of rocks and minerals (some you can even touch & feel). The videos on earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions are very well done and attractive. They even have a full-sized skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and an ancient elephant. Great... More

This museum is a jewel amongst musea, well detailed and a wide variety of skeletons and bones on display, good overview of geographical locations of the various minerals found in the archipal. It opens at 7am, advise go early to avoid the busloads of schoolchildren

Due to the fact that Indonesia is a part of Pacific Fire Ring and 3 most powerful Volcano eruptions in the history of mankind took place in Indonesia, I guess it's the best place to learn about geology and volcanos! Unfortunately we came too late and didn't have enough time to check whole museum, but i was really impressed with... More
