A brilliant, authentic and unique experience for our family of 4 (inc. 2 primary aged children) to learn more about the local area of Ubud and beyond, the culture and people. Kadek was a wonderful local guide who brought so much local knowledge to the places we visited. It was a great day of mixed activity to keep us all engaged and get an insight into the lives of the people. A memorable and very special program that I would highly recommend to those wanting to see Ubud beyond the main tourist areas. We loved the school visit, cycling as a family on tandem bikes and having a chance to see the rice being harvested (and even having a go). I read about UbudCycling from a family blog post who highly recommended it and I am very glad I did!

We had a great half day cycling tour. Komang was engaging and really great and accomodating of our 2 year old. The riding was easy and downhill and the roads safe. The countryside was beautiful and there was plenty of opportunity to take photos. Highlights for us were visiting the coffee plantation and the beautiful waterfall at the end of the ride. Thanks for a great day, we would highly recommend it!

The bike ride was really local and nice. We had a lot of fun hanging out at the primary schools and drinking some fresh tea. The ride was mostly downhill which was ideal for the hot weather. We then got to a beautiful Waterfall and freshen off. It was clear our instructor was engaging with us and talking us into comfort.

Komang & his team were absolutely wonderful! Our children were quite nervous & not super confident on the bikes & they all went above & beyond to make them feel confident & be successful with the ride. The day was well organised & we learnt so much about the Balinese culture, traditions & way of life while enjoying the most amazing landscape.

This is a great day out …..worth every cent. Komang was exceptional to work with , liasing with us prior , on the day etc. It is very well organised and all the ‘stops’ gave us a great appreciation of the ‘local’ life etc…what he said we would get , we certainly got! Many thanks to Komang and his team .

A wonderful bike tour of rural Ubud- it was great to see the local school and a traditional house to experience and learn more about the Balinese culture and way of life. The guide was so accommodating for our family of 5, including 2 young kids on wheels and an infant seat for our youngest. The scenery was wonderful, the tour was really informative and we all had a great day out.

Komang was a fantastic tour guide. For our first day in Bali we could not have asked for a better experience. Komang was very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to share his cultural insights. The bikes were of very quality too.
Thanks Komang for a great day.

The trip was so beautiful and we got so much information about the people living in this country.

First we went to a primary school and everyone there was so lovely, the children are really kind and want to hug you and be on the picture with you.

Then we went to a coffeeplantation and got ourselves some differents coffees and tea’s to taste, it was delicious even we are not a fan of coffee.

After that we went to local peoples home where we got much interesting information. The view was also so beautiful!

We were recommended by friends to go on a cycling trip in Bali, and now I recommend this to you and your friends/family or just you and your partner. Just lovely!

Tip! Bring your swimming clothes and a towel with you because you are going to swim afterwards at a beautiful waterfall.

Brilliant experience. Absolutely everything was so great. Visiting the school was so fun, my kids loved it, we took a few books and pencils etc which Komang helped us buy on the way, coffee plantation interesting, fabulous insight into Balinese village life and culture. It’s an absolute must do tour to experience the real culture in a private tour. Seeing the rice being harvested and learning all about that also was great. Komang and his guide will take care of any needs you have. Don’t miss it!

We had the best day cycling through lovely little villages and picturesque countryside! It was amazing to be able to look through a family living compound and also see some rice harvesting in action (and have go as well!).
The coffee and tea tasting was also really interesting and delicious - great way to start the day!
Komang is so knowledgeable about all the history and cultural information and he is passionate to talk and explain everything as you go.
We had a 2 year old, 7 year old and 11 year old with us and it’s no worries as the bus follows if anyone needs some time out. Very easy cycling though as it’s all down hill!
A refreshing swim at the water at the bottom is a nice finish.
Highly recommend 👍👍
