We took this tour as part of our ubud tour.
If you were lucky with your traveller guide he will give you the best route and photos
Monkeys here are not hostile like the one in ulwata.
Enjoyed walking around, taking selfie with the monkey.
Three tips: dont look them un the eye, dont run away and dont touch or feed them

Our trek to Ubuntu and the monkey forest was about 2 hours from where we were staying in Seminyak. When we reached the sanctuary, the entrance was closed for flooding. They ensured us that in about 20 minutes, they would have the flooding under control and would reopen. They did indeed reopen and we were able to walk the beautiful paths around and through the temples, all while being able to be in very close proximity to the local monkey troops. There are signs that tel you how to behave, so listen to their direction to avoid any kind of monkey related altercation. Lots of fun and worth the price of admission.

Merge yourself into the nature, monkeys are numerous and friendly, must-visit for all those visiting Ubud. The entrance fee is reasonably priced and the experience is wonderful. There are so many monkeys and seeing them just live in their natural habitat is so interesting and fun. The natural landscape is quite breathtaking as well, and there are many temples along the path. Wonderful experience.

Wonderful experience. It was so entertaining just to stand and watch the monkeys in their natural habitats. It pleased me that they were able to just be free and do what they want. They were so gentle, well trained, got some lovely photos with them. However, make sure you haven’t got anything hanging out of your bag because they won’t hesitate to try and take it.

This was so much fun to experience. It was a monkey paradise in their natural habitat. Definitely read all the rules before you go inside. You are not supposed to look the monkey in the eye because they consider that as a form of aggression. Also, tie up long hair, I saw one women with beads in her hair and the monkey pulled her hair cause he was trying to get the beads. It was pretty funny to watch. Definitely a must see when visiting Bali.

Great Day at this Monkey Forrest loved every minute if it the monkeys were well behaved jumped on me and sat on my shoulder at one stage and i didn't know what to expect but the little baby got down soon as i started walking its a well kept place so much to do and see you can feed them and there is guides all on watch. I was worried about going as i hear bad things about the behavior of the monkeys but no I'm glad i went

Very interesting experience. Very 'touristy' of course but if the weather is good and the monkeys are in a good mood , it's a pleasant experience.
