Visited the Monkey Forest for the first time in years and was pleasantly surprised by the recent renovations and visitor centre. The monkeys are still naughty as ever and I would recommend being careful and definitely not making eye contact!!! otherwise a nice experience.

Definitely a place with visiting in Bali. Famous for the monkeys, you can spend time feeding them. Be careful while doing so cause not all of the monkeys are in a good mood. Follow the instructions of the guides present. There are lot of places...More

A great place to visit if it doesn't rain. Also, follow the rules stated at the entry regarding interactions with the monkeys to not have unnecessary issues(a monkey tried to steal my water bottle :) ). All in all, it was a fun trip.

It is 50.000 per person, you can walk around and visit 4 small temples. There is also a small cemetery for the people from the village. And you can feed the monkeys.

Hi Tony, I went there with my big Canon camera and I took a lot of pictures with no problem. The monkeys are just looking for bananas but they were not aggressive. Have a good time there.
