We likened this spot to what Disney Land must feel like. It's crowded and a bit chaotic. Still, a must do if you're in Ubud. Be mindful of your sunglasses and hats! Also, if you don't want to have monkeys climb on you I advise...More

As parents with two young kids (1 and 3), we were unsure whether this would be something we should do or not. We were a bit concerned about the monkeys having read other reviews. We had a great time here however. We read the guidelines...More

If you, like me, love seeing animals run around in the wild then this place is an incredible experience for anyone and everyone! For a very small donation fee you get to walk around breathtaking monuments (which you see all over Bali) but on top...More

Loved the Monkey forest! Went there with my hubby and 11 year old son. Monkeys were totally unafraid of people and knew exactly how to extract a banana. I was a bit wary but was never prepared for the baby monkey to bite! Little baby...More

The only part I liked here is the nature and how well they have maintained it. Monkeys are very naughty and harmless.

A lovely place to walk around for a couple hours. Beautiful scenery.. giant trees, temples, statues, bridges and various paths winding through. Our family did enjoy the monkeys too. The kids got bananas and approached smaller ones to feed. Just as others have said, the...More

A very touristy place. Ticket cost 50,000rp per pax. Great if you wanna hang out lots of monkeys. Beware, they can be rather aggressive though. Be sure to follow the guidelines there.

Really nice place to walk around - no temples are open so the main attraction are the monkeys - follow all the rules and you’ll be fine around them!

Really fun trip. The monkeys are really relaxed around humans and will jump on you if you buy bananas off the staff members, which is really fun and their nails aren't sharp at all. Will fill up 2-3 hours of the day as there is...More

50,000 Rp per person and then another 50,000Rp to buy bananas unless you bring your own. No matter which way you go separate them into singles so the monkeys don't get a whole bunch. If you want a monkey on your shoulder... More

Hi Tony, I went there with my big Canon camera and I took a lot of pictures with no problem. The monkeys are just looking for bananas but they were not aggressive. Have a good time there.
