It's a long walk to the bottom of the waterfall and not recommended for anyone who is not fit. You get a good view from the viewing platforms if you don't want to go to the bottom. Some people swam at the bottom

The waterfall is dirty from mud. Very crowded and so many Chinese groups. Not much to see there.. after we payed entrance fee we were requested for more charges to see that place from more angles

Having visited Norway a number of times I think going to this waterfall is a waist of time. Parking was a nightmare

Not surprising for Bali that you'll never get anything to yourself. I would suggest heading to the waterfall as early as you can to really appreciate it. We drove from Ubud on our little scooter, following Google Maps which led us straight there. Make sure...More

You have to walk down about 150 steps to get to the waterfall. As you walk down there are photo spots. Once you get down you can walk a short distance to get to the bottom of the waterfall. You are allowed to bathe in...More

This waterfall is easily accessible and not too treacherous to get to. Its a beauty, which makes the trash surrounding it so much sadder. It is very crowded as its one of the more popular waterfalls to visit in Bali.

We had our driver stop on the way from Kuta to Ubud. The waterfall was surprisingly large, and not too crowded. It was a short but moderate walk to the falls. Highly recommend!

had 2 hours staying at waterfall after lunch at cafe nearby the waterfall. it was 165 steps to see the falls closer but the vies the falls offer was just brilliant. Balinese must be proud to have this falls.

Navigate the markets to your first view of the falls. We went after rain so they were really flowing with muddy water. There are hundreds of uneven steps from the top to the bottom with good resting places on the way back up if it...More

We went there today with our 2 girls of 4 and 2, so I believe totally feasible. A bit more than 150 steps down (and then up), might take time with kids but on holiday you are generally not on a hurry !
