Cycling tour by Bali Emerald Touring, We created a nice atmosphere on riding your bike, The tour was really much more than a nice cycling tour. Other site to go such as Coffee plantation, to a Temple, planting rice in the rice fields, with your feet in the mud, saw the preparation of a Ceremony etc. etc, and staff comments in good english helped us to get a glimpse of the Balinese culture.

Despite being a nervous cyclist this was an excellent tour. Our guide was so full of information and it was great to see a piece of bali away from the tourists. Even though we got soaked it was a great tour and I would definitely recommend to anyone considering this.

Thoroughly enjoyed this activity. The visit to the coffee plantation was interesting and informative. We were given 12 different teas and coffees to sample with the option of purchasing a luwack coffee for rp50.000. Breakfast was overlooking the volcano. The bike ride was downhill all the way at our own pace with some interesting stops and explanations along the way... More

They did a splendid job with the tour. The guide was really nice. The food at the end of the tour was amazing too. Ask for extra fish satay because you're definitely going to hog on a lot of it.

Pickup was spot on time and our guide, Wayan, was very informative. Stop at coffee plantation for coffee tasting and "breakfast" - which really was sweet cakes and nothing else so not a breakfast. Collected cycles and whilst ok they did need a bit of tlc. Helmets again ok but lacking padding so a bit hard if you have little... More

My husband and I returned from this tour today and I was inclined to write a review right away. Our hotel in Ubud recommended this tour to us, they told us it's simply the best for down hill cycling and I couldn't agree more now that I've experienced the tour. Our guide Putu and Wayan were fantastic! From the moment... More

Very easy bike tour. Most people who can ride a bike would be able to do this. It's 23 kilometres, but 99% down hill with 3 or 4 short uphill sections. You get to see the real Bali. Rice paddies galore, traditional Balinese house and started the day at the coffee plantation sampling their products. Breakfast and lunch included as... More

Fantastic cycling tour. The tour covers a visit to luwak coffee spot, where you experience a coffee & tea tasting, move on to Batur for a light breakfast- great view of mount Batur. You then cycle through a few beautiful villages and stop at a local home for a visit. Tour ends with a delicious authentic lunch. Our guide on... More

Emerald Cycling came highly recommended to us by friends that has previously done a tour with them whilst in Ubud. I will now highly recommended Emerald Cycling Tours to anyone I know going to Bali. The tour guides were extremely friendly and knowledgable, i left the tour having learnt a lot about local customs and traditions. We stopped at a... More
