The facilities are good , helpfull staff and dont have to wait too long to play the next ride. And u can have tricky price. I suggest u to book online to get cheaper price. In my opinion. Mine was about $50 for 5 types of ride

I visited this place two times and I really liked it!
The first time I went there we did the trip to Turtle Island (really really worth it!) and tried snorkelling. Turtle Island was great: We went there by glass-bottom boat so that we could see some fish underneath the boat. As soon as we arrived, a nice lady introduced herself and started to show us around. We got time to be in the water with all turtles and even fed them with algae. Then we met more animals: A bat, a snake, an exotic bird (forgot the name sorry) and a white-tailed see eagle. We were allowed to take pictures with our camera but they even take pictures of you with their professional camera. For 5,000 Rupiah (around 5$) you can get your favourite hard copy in a nice frame to take back home as a memory. I even left a 10$ donation in addition cause I really liked it, especially the fact that they run an animal protection program.
Snorkelling wasn't the best experience for me cause I never tried it before and it was quite hard for me to get used to the breathing technique. Unfortunately our boat driver didn't speak English very well so he couldn't give me advice. Apart from that, it was good. My friend really enjoyed it because there were LOTS of fish in the water that we fed with bread. And the equipment was good (she said even better than the equipment she got at the Great Barrier Reef!). I tried to dive without snorkel and got a pretty good view still, so I was quite happy.
The second time I came around I did the Ocean Walk: It was FANTASTIC! We left the beach with one of the boats and got an instruction and then we were ready. They gave us astronaut-like-helmets and helped us to get down to the seabed, where a diver helped us to walk around a little course where we fed the colourful fish again, saw Nemo & friends and even touched anemones! The instructor was very nice and calming and even took pictures of us with my underwater camera. After around 30 minutes, we got back into the boat that took us back to the beach. They even offered us a cool drink.
Before and after all those activities we had access to lockers, changing rooms, toilets and showers. Not the newest ones, but absolutely fine. The staff was always very helpful and in a good mood and most of them spoke english very well in comparison to other Balinese people that we met. Next time I come to Bali, I'll definitely come back! :-)

Tanjung Benoa is one of nice places to play and have fun. Here we can do various of water sports, free such as swimming or paid such as parasailing, jet ski, flying fish, banana boat, snorkeling, diving, sea walker, etc.
There are many places in Tanjung Benoa that offer water sports, the prices are vary and relative. Generally, prices for local people are cheaper than foreigners. If you want the prices cheaper, before going to Tanjung Benoa you should ask help to Balinese people (especially who live in Tanjung Benoa) that you know or trust, or try to searching local trip tour near your losmen/hotel or by googling.
If you want to go a place to play water sports and have fun in Bali, then you should go to Tanjung Benoa. Try one, two, or all water sports that you want to, and have fun. It's what summer is all about!
p.s. Check my Flickr to see photos of Bali and many more! I wrote my Flickr link on my TripAdvisor profile, just check it out if you interested :)

We originally went here just to visit turtle Island (not a great idea either) but were sweet talked into purchasing a ticket for the jetski and para sailing. We first went to do the para sailing, not knowing what to expect. The guys driving the boat to take you out to the other boat which has the sail on it were very rough with the boat and did not give any direction on what we needed to do. When we got the the other boat we were told "go" so we got up but then the boat was moved by the driver and I fell on my back/side very hard and bruised my leg and hip badly. When we got onto the boat with the para sail we had a harness very roughly placed on our body then hoisted up for a total of two minutes (we were told it went for six minutes). We then went back to the beach and proceeded to wait for the jetski, there was a big group of tourist waiting for a jetski and we were told to wait with no explanation. There was about 7 jetskis in the water but no one would tell us what was happening. After about 20 minute we asked for a refund which we did receive, then others complained also and explained they had been waiting for over an hour. I honestly wouldn't waste any time here, don't go. Very un profesional and no care for the travellers.

Got scammed in water sports!!!!!! I have went to benoa water sport on june 2024. They told me its a package price and discounted. For jet sky - fly board - para sailing they charged me 30,00000!!! And it is way too much. I didn’t realise the conversion at that moment. I’m really disappointed with this

They have lot of options for water-sports but they are not taking enough precautions. The person responsible are not attentive and there could be serious injury. Changing rooms too are not enough. The photographer has a very old cybershot camera so don’t expect great pictures from them.

Ever wanted to get ripped off, have your activities cut short and feel you wasted a perfectly good day at the beach? Well today is your lucky day! I have listed below the problems we encountered:
1. When we arrived at the beach, the staff were NOT professional throughout the whole day. Many of them were sitting around, talking to each other or doing nothing, and several times, I had to go and search for the girl looking after us. At one stage she told us that we might not be able to do parasailing because the tide was low, and that we may consider doing a tandem parasail instead for more money. Is this an appropriate way to solicit more money and business from your tourists? If I pay for something, I expect to receive it, no questions.
2. We were not advised that we would be charged a 3% fee for using a credit card for our payment, which was an extra $60,750 Rp. If you are going to charge a fee for customers using a credit card, then you must advise them beforehand so they are aware of it. The ladies in the office just laughed while I took out my credit card...
3. According to our confirmation email, we were advised that the sea walking activity would be 40 mins. The girl opened up a booklet and said that the sea walking was only 30 mins NOT 40 mins. I couldn't be bothered arguing over 10 mins, so we went anyway. The boat ride there and back was 10 mins total (5 mins there, and 5 mins back). When we got to the sea walking boat, the instructors couldn't manage more than 1-2 word sentences in english explaining the safety precautions, I started to think this is ridiculous! My girlfriend and I were feeling very anxious by now. The total time we spent under water sea walking was ONLY 17 mins. We know this, because we timed the activity. I am sure that the 40 mins does not include the boat ride transfer (10 mins), but even so, the time we spent under water WAS NOT 40 mins. Also, we were not able to go any further than a little track around a coral rock set out for us. I think the only way we could've used up our 40 mins, would've been to walk around it 6 times. So I was not only disappointed with the short time we spent under water, but also the limited space in which we could walk.Just stupid. When we got back on the boat, there were more people waiting to do their sea walk, the instructor asked me in 2 words.."Tell them" - meaning if I could explain the safety precautions to the new group since they spoke english! Unbelievable. That was definitely NOT worth our time or money.
4. Our JetSki ride also WAS NOT 15 mins, it was UNDER 10 mins. Also I was not advised that I would have to ride with an instructor on the JetSki (Tandem). This was not as enjoyable as being on the Ski alone. So I was really disappointed. We should have been advised of how the whole activity works beforehand, or been given the option to choose to ride with an instructor or alone. Also my Ski stalled 4 times and I was shocked to hear the instructor say..."Oh it's probably another piece of plastic" - Seems like the water being dirty is just normal to them now. Poor equipment, dirty water and time cut short (3 strikes in 1 activity).
5. According to our confirmation email, our Parasailing activity was supposed to be 10 mins, it was UNDER 2 MINS. I wanted to share a youtube video with a timecode showing exactly how long it was, but Trip Advisor don't allow URL links in reviews. But for the record, mine was 1:44.10 and my girlfriend's was 1:43.04. What a joke. If we knew that it would be under 2 mins long, i would definitely not pay for this activity!! Total scam!
6. Lastly, there was a guy (a staff member/instructor) on the banana boat that was continually asking us for money, saying he was hungry wanted it for food. This was very uncomfortable for us and we did not expect that at all. Later we saw him smoking a cigarette with the other staff. Also there were old ladies around asking to give us massages for 30 mins and rubbing our backs while we were waiting between each activity. This also made us uncomfortable as well! We understand that they may want to try and make money, that's fine, but in my opinion this is not the right place for that and is highly inappropriate and potentially annoying for tourists wanting to relax and enjoy their activities.
Apologies for the long review, but I just couldn't believe how appalled I was how much of a scam this was! Hopefully they can clean up their act, their activities...and the water. Speaking of the water I forgot to mention that there were about 20 big boats out ithere, and something that looked like a small oil rig? (not sure). I will never go back!
So in conclusion: balidiscounts.com (Caveat Emptor)

Just came back from Bali, July 21-25. The water in Tanjung Benoa definitely not for snorkeling. No fishes and the water is grey. Terrible, worst ever. The goggles are old and water infused into our mouth, eyes and nose.Tanjung Benoa is a con tourist spot. For snorkeling in Bali, consider Lovina. The water in Lovina is much better.

All of those vendors on the side of the road offering 'Watersport' all seem to end up in this dirty, disorganised shambles of an operation.
My partner and I assumed that since we had booked through our hotel, that we would be getting a good experience with some professionalism and maybe even safety precautions. Unfortunately, we ended up at Tanjung Benoa watersports.
This is a very loosely organised operation which is based out of a few run-down beachside sheds on the Benoa strand/Nusa Dua stretch and situated in the midst of a dilapidated cemetery.
For the day of activities we had booked snorkelling, glass bottom boat and turtle island (not an island, more later).
To begin with my partner needed to use the bathroom with a door which did not lock, stunk like piss and had no toilet paper - instead just a bucket of water next to the toilet.
After hearing a husky-voiced woman sing her rendition of a popular Justin Bieber hit over and over it was time to board our unseaworthy vessel which looked to have been freshly repaired with some amateur fibre-glassing.
We left the beach and stopped off to drop some flippers and snorkels to another vessel after being 'fitted' for our own equipment, then travelled roughly another 300 metres further out, past the dredging barge and just outside the shipping channel to where a circle of other equally unseaworthy vessels had parked.
Our captain then stripped down to his underpants and donned a set of goggles, wasting no time in getting into the murky water. My partner and I peered through the small lexan panel in the centre of our craft and wondered if this is where we snorkel.
As she fitted her flippers, she discovered that one of them was split and was cutting into her foot, I called out to our strange tour guide to let him know this, and as he splashed around amongst the floating far gave he replied "it's okay, it's not a problem".
I made my way into the water, forgoing the option of wearing a lifejacket, and my partner entered with only one flipper.
We kind of just floated around for a while not really being able to see anything other than glimpses of dead coral and floating pollutants.
Our captain then approached me in the water weilding a half-empty bag of stale bread, I asked him "what for?" To which he grabbed a small handful of wet bread, tossed it in front of him and exclaimed "pish!!!".
I understand that this meant that he was feeding the small clownfish that seemed to disappear as quick as the bread.
We decided that was enough for us and climbed back on the boat, waited for our captain/guide who returned a few minutes later and suck-siphoned some fuel out of an old oil container and into the boat's fuel tank.
After a brief stop over to return our snorkelling gear to the seawalker's vessel (where everyone looked upset about the money they were about to waste) we made our way to turtle island, this travel time of about five minutes concluded the 'glass bottom boat' section of the activities, where I could briefly see bubbles forming under the hull as we smashed through the wake of other boats in the harbour.
It turns out that turtle island is actually a turtle farm on the other side of the strand - not an island.
We docked our boat and stepped onto a concrete ledge which surrounded the farm, on arrival it was apparent that an entry fee was expected on top of the cost of our package, this worked out to be about $2 or something which is fine because it's for the baby turtles or something.
We were greeted by each being given a dinner-plate sized turtle to hold onto for a while which we took photos with, after that we were allowed to wade around in an enclosure with some much older turtles, where they came up close for photo opportunities, they also allowed us to feed them some seaweed which was probably my favourite part of the day.
There were some other animals to touch like toucans, snakes and a bat - then some baby dragons, porcupines and monkeys which were all in cages which was kind of sad.
After that the guide from the park tried to sell us a picture of ourselves which we already had on our phones.
We returned back to the rundown shed where a bunch of boats were darting around within feet of one-another while towing around humans on banana boats, donuts and parasails while some guy seemed to just yell things through a load speaker which I suppose was meant to create at atmosphere of excitement.
We met up with our driver and asked if we could possibly just get away from there as soon as possible and waiver the included lunch, he asked us to sit down and wait for him to organise a vehicle - we waited about 15 minutes while a croaky-voiced woman was STILL singing that same part from that same song and just generally being loud and obnoxious.
Our driver eventually returned clutching a bag with some take-away containers, we said "no thanks" and told him we had planned to get lunch elsewhere, to which he asked if he could keep it, I thought that was fine and was pretty happy with that outcome.
We were then sent on our way with another driver and another couple who just wanted to get as far away as possible, all the while having to give directions to our hotel.
I still have that Justin Beiber song in my head.

Saw this in a pamphlet at front counter of reception. We decided on a package for banana boat, jet ski, flying fish and parasailing, plus lunch and pick and return to hotel for $68USD p.p.
Got picked up in a filthy old car (seatbelts did not even work). On way the driver starts negotiating saying we are booked in for $100us p.p, i told him this was incorrect. Arrive at beach and are immediately hussled into line to pay. Move onto beach and it is not at all what we had imagined... stinky, covered in rubbish and all their equipment looked like it belonged at the tip. The most disgusting toilets I've ever seen or smelt in my life. Banana boat and jet ski lasted barely 5 mins each. P.S. You don't get your own jet ski, one of their operators chauffeurs you on one but you get to play with controls. Shoved into tiny fiberglass boat (fiberglass falling apart - careful not to cut yourself, can't believe it was floating) with 10 others to do flying fish. It had barely left the water before it came back down and we were told to change out. Slipped trying to get back onto boat and hurt my back, driver just kept telling at me to go to rear. A Chinese lady fell in, and when they got her back on board the driver started screaming at her. Wind had picked up too much to do parasailing, so we were offered to go in a biscuit instead (which was fine with me, i can't believe no one was killed doing the parasailing, One lady got dropped onto a roof by accident and plenty of near misses No HSE what so ever - someone will die doing this! BE WARNED!).
Lunch was a bowl of nasi or mie goring. Finished that, then the driver came up to me and demanded an extra $20US because he said we had underpaid. I told him we didn't even get to do parasailing and demanded he take us back to the hotel immediately.
Death trap of a place, rip off big time, you will have a bad experience! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
HI all, i wanted to try flyboard, snorkelling, flying fish and wake board in tanjung benoa. Any contact or booth which will give me the cheapest rates and best serive. also let me know how much should i pay for these sports? should i book online or on the spot at bali?

should you book online or on the spot? The answer is it depends. You can book online if you want to, and you can pay on the spot too. If you want to pay on the spot, make sure you get the best appropriate price (not advertised prices), you can get it by contact the booth (get guarantee from them that you'll get best price on the spot) or by negotiating on the spot.
Don't forget, best time to do water sport is on summer season :) Have fun!
p.s. I already sent you a contact number that you need, check it out.

Hi Ajin, my opinion it is better that once you arrived in bali then ask your car driver to bring you to tanjung benoa, usually the driver will bring to operator that already has friend relationship, however you can also discuss if you think that places was not meet your plan. If you would like to have driver phone number which I used, please send to my gmail denny.amperiana, Good luck.
