We were picked up and driven to the location from Sanur, stopping at a local market on the way where we given a guided tour and explanation of unfamiliar fruits and vegetable and their uses. We really enjoyed learning how to make the offerings and rice baskets with lots of help along the way. Our hosts are a very patient... More

This was a very cute place, we learned how to make the traditional offering/blessing and then made a bunch of traditional Balinese food. They even obliged to teach me how to make samba look even though it wasn't originally in the class. Lovely people and setting! :)

I was the only guest cooking so one on one with Wayan was fantastic. She even showed me a few different recipes along the way. Everything is well organised and very clean. Like everyone else is saying, SO MUCH food, I couldnt eat it all. I really did enjoy the pancake with the coconut syrup, yum. Highly recommend this cooking... More

Solo female traveller picked up from hotel and taken to market where I was directed to walk around completely alone. No guide, no group. Felt quite unsafe and driver did not speak good English so went to 'school' and requested cancellation. After 15 minutes they finally agreed to take me back to my hotel. No refund offered. Having been to... More

This was an amazing cooking class and I highly recommend to people visiting Bali. We were picked up at our hotel and also dropped off so transportation was taken care of. Upon arrival we were given fresh squeezed juice, so refreshing! Then we were taught how to make a traditional offering. I really enjoyed this part because upon arrival to... More

We attended The Taste of Bali Cooking Class with friends. The class begins by making an offering basket & learning about the custom along with a woven satchel to cook our rice. The lovely staff are only to happy to help if you are like me & not that crafty. The cooking class is interactive, educational, fun & extremely tasty!... More

We booked directly, were picked up at our hotel, stopped off at a traditional market and then met our hosts at the cooking school. We learnt how to make traditional offerings and beautiful traditional food, which we ate as we went - such a lovely day! They are so well organised! Highly recommended!

We visited this Cooking School today and enjoyed this unique experience very much. We learnt to cook a three course traditional balanese meal consisting of 3 varieties of soup, tantalizing sauces, noodles, satay, fish, curry dish all very delious indeed. Our lovely teachers guided us through an unforgettable cruisine delight ... we would have no hesitations in recommending this experience... More

My only mistake was booking this activity via a booking agent in Kuta. It resulted in my hotel having to ring and confirm my whereabouts to be picked up. With hindsight I should have booked directly with them. The location is a family home and everything is definitely hands-on. I was the only person attending on that afternoon, but I... More
