The Bali Bombing Memorial, Ground Zero was built in the memory of terror attack that took place on 12th October, 2002 in Bali. It is considered as the deadliest terror attack in the history of Bali. The simple yet elegant architecture is made from carved stones and has a huge marble plaque with names as well nationalities of those who were killed in the attack.

Befitting monument on a busy corner. Pub opposite has great wood fire pizza & great cold beer. Good spot to sit & people watch.

We stayed next to ground zero at the white rose hotel. It was really sad to see so many people lost their lives so senseless.

The monument is nice but it's in front of a big road with not so much place for the tourists. We happen to came upon it by chance and we wouldn't do a trip to specifically see it.
