A very well constructed memorial for the victims. Pleasantly all people were well behaved and respectful of the surrounds. Very easy to find and walk too from legian and kuta

Unfortunately the monument is looking a little unloved. Needs repair. Lots of flag poles but not one country flag flying.

In these troubled times (yesterday Manchester) it seems fitting to have an appropriate memorial to those people who were murdered in the Bali bombing of October 2002. That way the 202 people who needlessly lost their lives will always be remembered and their relatives can come to the site and mourn their loved ones. Situated in Legian Street on the... More

This is a significant memorial for many countries and needs to be maintained as a mark of respect. Unless it's an anniversary it is often neglected.

Great Monument and a must visit to at least show some respect to other innocent travellers. The location is easy to visit and there are plenty of other attractions, shops or other in the area.

This was one of the most emotionally-charged memorials I've ever seen. Some 198 people were killed in that bomb explosion at a local Irish Pub some 15 years ago or thereabouts). Mainly Australians, there were also locals. Why this ever happened is beyond me. I think you should visit the monument just to pay your respects to innocent victims.

this memorial site was on my list of things to do in Bali. I wanted to pay my respects to all who had lost their lives in the bombing. still a solemn site, but it would be good if other tourists refrained from posing with large smiles on their faces in front of the Monument.

Humbling to see this memorial in the centre of Kuta. Take a moment and read the names of all those lost.
