Yes this place is wet and stinks! Traditional Fish market in Jimbaran not so a turist attraction if your picky person and can't stand the fish smell..if you love seafood and don't want to pay $$$ at restaurant I suggest you to have a look at this place. You'd be surprised when you see the prices. Treat your self with... More

We called in here as part of a cooking class at a nearby resort. The array of fish here has to be seen to be believed. There were a few small ones that really should still be swimming free, but in the main it was incredible. A warning - the floor is uneven in spots - if you do fall... More

If you like or if you love fresh fish this place is a must. If you are offended by the smell of fish at a fish market??? Eat at your hotel.... This is truly authentic open fish market where the fishermen sell their goods. The selection is amazing and once you buy your seafood you can go to a little... More

While the location is stunning the food was the opposite .. More like a Chinese tour bus trap ... Keep going out with a smile and still feeling loved

Wandering around the markets at the beachfront at Jimbaran was a great experience. If you are a photographer you will find many sights worth capturing. There was an incredible abundance of seafood caught the night before. I was amazed at how much. This is well worth a visit. We went along with a chef who bought some fish and then... More

Colourful boat harbour. Watch 20+ men carrying the fishing boats up the beach. Buying fresh fish in the fish market they are so helpful, $3 and take it to one of the ikan bakar, charcoal barbecues to have it cooked and served for $2. They sell cold beer and cut you open a fresh coconut at the local stalls.

My sister and I visited on a Saturday morning, around 8:30 am or so. We were honestly a little confused about where the actual selling of the fish was taking place. But we were more interested in walking around and taking pictures of the gorgeous Jimbaran Bay and fishing boats. We definitely got what we came for! The water is... More
