Went there with my travel buddy, we love it there !! Hiked for about an hour all the way to the big seagegrass, loving the view, quite hard track when it's raining, steepy and slippery but totally worthy once you reach the waterfall.
It's more like a low waterfall and small creek but so fun to just stay there and play, after that you can hang and relax on top where they have a little bamboo shack.
There's one small warung selling hot coffee or tea and small snacks while you're relaxing. You can ask them to serve grilled chicken if you decide to go back for second or third come back.

My boyfriend and i were there today. We were at the waterfalls for free, then we made a tour with the guide named made. He showed us the hidden waterfalls and the swing. It was really beautiful and so quiet. The river was also pretty beautiful. He took a lot of pictures from my boyfriend and me. He was very funny, friendly and it was nice going with him. He knew exactly where every rock was and warned us about deep waters and rocks. We paid only what we wanted to pay. We only can recommend this tour and the guide. If you're go there ask for made! He's about 22 year old and he showed a lot effort to make beautiful pictures of the 2 of us and he showed us literally everything!
Made, if you're reading this - thank you so much for your time and your effort ❤️

My husband and I visited the Goa Rang Reng waterfall outside of Ubud and had a great time! After a short descent you are greeted by a beautiful rock waterfall where you can swim and climb around. Great for kids and adults, and just a very pretty area to explore. I recommend wearing water shoes if you have them!

Start the tour from ubud, we decided to visit this famous waterfall. The locals said the meaning of goa is cave, and this waterfall come throught from the rock cave. The atmosphere super green and clean, we can chill in natural pool at the up of falls, a litle bit slippery, be carefull! but there is a giant rope that make the climbing easier.
Well, just find it on google map "rangreng cave waterfall" then you will thank me later! But just my sugestion, bring your own drink and foods, because you cant find any shop there. The experience will amaze you. Bring back your garbage

Rang Reng is located in the district of Gianyar, only 13km away from Ubud and 3km from the smaller waterfall Kanto Lampo. Entrance fee is IDR 20,000 per person (April 2018). A new staircase leads down to the waterfall. The right path leads to the waterfall, the left one to the river. Although it is not very tall, the rocks tend to be quite slippery. If you want to avoid large crowds, come during weekdays.

I suggest for whoever come here to go by guide, they don't ask for fixed price only donation and they will walk you to hidden waterfall. It was worth it! They call it canyon waterfall, you will walk by the river which was very nice experience and the last destination is goa rang reng. The price for goa rang reng is 10k/person both for local and tourist.

Such a great spot! Definetly go with the local guide to the secret waterfalls. It was lovely to have the place to ourselves. The shady gorge and blue water was stunning. Great place for insta shots if that's what your into or enjoy some beautiful nature with out 100 people posing for photos! Highly reccomend it!

We decided to do a full day of visiting waterfalls and hired our driver through Gede Bali Driver (we previously used them) to take us around. The Goa Reng Rang Waterfalls was our first stop and it was a very nice waterfall. We didn't end up going down the cave (didn't know there was one until reading some of the reviews here). Just note that there are a lot of stairs to walk down and climb back up. We went early, so there were no one there. When we left, there was a swarm of people making their way down to the waterfall. My recommendation is to go early if you want to get some pictures in without people being in the background.
Oh, and I think they charged us about 15K IDR each, which is about $1 USD. Bring cash of course.

In Bali, we had a driver and we said we wanted to visit a waterfall that wouldn't be littered with tourists.
He took us here and I would have to say it was the best waterfall I visited while in Bali.
You have to walk through a bit of the forest to get the waterfall but when you get there it's amazing!
The waterfall doesn't drop off a huge ledge but more meanders down lots of rocks, which is why I enjoyed it, you can climb up the left hand side and then make your way down the right hand side stopping in all the little plunge pools on the way.
The water was fresh and it felt like an actual adventure visiting here.
It also made it pretty cool that we were the only people there!
