This beach was great to visit, it was beautiful during sunset. A lot of locals come here to watch the sunset and sit on the rocks. They also have a variety of warungs with great food selections!

Having rented a villa not far we have been walking by this beach. It's ok but I wouldn't drive there as a tourist to see it. There are far more attractive beaches in Bali...

I wouldn’t make a special trip to find this black sand beach. However if you are in the area or tanking down the main highway west or east and need a break then this is a convenient and interesting pit stop. It is only 50 yards off the main highway and you are into a large area of clothes shops and Warungs and there are fresh fish stalls too! It would be fair to characterise it as a Balinese “service station”. I suspect it’s also a place where locals from nearby towns come. Travellers stop here for the above and blessings for their travels at the temple. There is a sort of promenade which unfortunately a storm has broken through. It’s obviously a fishing village too with many multi-coloured boats moored up. There is a traditional shaded structure next to the beach where people were eating their snacks. The sea was strong and crashing waves not the place for a quiet dip. For me it was quick, easy and interesting stop for a break but I wouldn’t make a special visit here.

Black sand beach atmosphere, cheap admission fee. Many visitors who spend time fishing and just enjoying a seafood dish. Parking is spacious and access from the main road is very close.

If you like seafood then this hidden gem is for you. Not far from the Bali Safari Park and only a hour from Kuta this location provides you with fresh seafood at a wonderful price.
This small fishing beach has a plethora of seafood Warungs. You can buy fresh seafood to take home or choose one of the many there.
My pick of this location is Warung Pak Colt. A new warung but the Balinese owner has been fishing and selling his catch for many years.
Wonderful fresh caught and cooked seafood. Can’t go wrong.

We have been there just to visit the beach and to have dinner.
The beach is nice. It has black sand and it's very quite. You can see the fisherman selling the fresh fish right in there.
We had dinner in Warung Makan Tepi Lebih restaurant. Is a restaurant mainly for the local people with nice Balinese table and with a small menu mainly with fish dishes.
Very nice food at an excellent price and friendly waitresses.
Would repeat for sure!

The Beach is located at Gianyar Residence of Bali. About 45minutes (average traffic) from Ngurah Rai International Airport at Kuta. What is good here is the food court surrounded. They served almost the same menu. Balinese Traditional Fish Cuisine such as: Sate Lilit, Be Nyatnyat, Telor Ikan, Soup Ikan etc. all served ala Balinese. It's cheap also

The black sandy beach is now must be protected from sea erotion by big lava stones. Nothing is special here. come for lunch or dinner in the seaside food stall, Fishes are very fresh here. The taste is excellent and it is very cheap. There are fish soup, fish egg soup, grilled sate, fish with sauce in banana leaves, yummy but a bit spicy!
