Lovely falls, just don't swim there.
These are lovely falls with easy access, it's only a short walk and about 500 steps to the base. I would say it's easy with the top section being the steepest but still suitable for all levels of fitness. I would just recommend not to swim at the base of the Falls and if you must, don't put your head under or breathe in the mist. If you do, expect to get Bali belly or worse.

Beautiful! Bring a towel and some cash for a bintang for a very relaxing day out.
This is our third time visiting this waterfall, simply for the beauty of it. There are two entrances - one has a glass bridge to walk over (cost AU$25) and the other is via the steps (cost AU$2).... Take the cheaper entrance, it's just as nice! There are a few steps but not too hard to walk, with stop points on the way. This placed has changed a bit over the years. There was a wall of water that tore through the place a few years back, washing away steps etc. so parts were rebuilt during covid times. A lot more concrete areas (safer steps and bar area), but still beautiful. There's a bar at the bottom for a cool bintang, and you can swim at the base of the waterfall to cool off. Plenty of photo opportunities and three different swings - for those Instagramers! It does get a little crowded in the middle of the day, but plenty of room to find a spot.

    Top stop of the day.
Lovely waterfall (maybe the best of the day). A number of steps to walk up and down and a couple of narrow bambo paths at the bottom but overall a good sized space to sit and watch the falls or get in to the water. Close to the waterfall is roped off for safety so you can’t swim under it. Next door is the Glass Bridge.

The access to the base of the waterfall/swimming area is via a significant set of steep concrete steps. There is also a small entry fee. Unlike the photos, you will not have this place to yourself. When we attended there were several 100 people already at the bottom of waterfall. There are new toilets and changing rooms at the bottom. You are unable to swim actually right under the waterfall. A permanent safety rope has been installed (at least during the wet season) to prevent swimmers getting too close to the actual waterfall. That being said, you can swim up to about 10 metres away. There are no life guards on duty. Of concern (to me) is that located at the top of the waterfall/along the river is a restaurant and other occupied buildings. Where does their waist water and sewerage flow to; I suggest down stream....

Only 30 mins from Sanur, it's well worth a visit. Lots of steps to walk up and down but worth it. $2 entrance fee. We did this on the motorcycle so it was a cheap trip. You would probably only want to spend 1 hour here unless you booked a tour which included lunch. Probably better to get here before the crowds if you want good pic's.

It was my 1st experience to swim in a waterfall and I actually enjoy it! The water level was just nice (below waist level, depending on one's height). The water rush was refreshing. However, do go with someone to take a better quality photoshot. One area of improvement might be there is no shower facilities, which would be better, especially after a dip in an open shared pool. Overall, worth going back again.

Nice and quite easy access for some old people. It is recommended for visiting. Please get in from tegalalang entrance if you bring your teens group.

We visited this waterfall in the morning before it was crowded. The view very good and a lot of water.
But there is very loud music in one of the restaurants near the river which makes the sound of the water inaudible.
