This is a fabulous find if you are interested in fabrics or love the local sarongs you have seen.
Here artisans make the fabrics out in front of the store, so you can see how laborious and detailed the preparation is. Inside the store, you will find those beautiful hand - painted and hand - blocked sarong fabric (which can be used for other things as well). Batik – making is a UNESCO protected cultural artifact.
I highly recommend this experience!

last two weeks,i had my Nov-Dec trip to Bali,i went to Candidasa on 27 Nov,on the way to Candidasa,i asked my driver to take me here.few years ago,i been here also,i bought a white clothe and brought my own white pant, and asked the artist to draw Batik on the clothes.but these white clothes not clean now.so i decided to come here again.i bought two white clothes at their shop first, then artists there using batik skill to write wax liquid on the surface of these clothes.they drawn a Bali village and also flowers on the clothes.after that,i gave them tips.i dont think i will wear them at home, cuz these white clothes just for memory,if you love to have some Batik souvenirs, then Bidadari Batik is a good place for you.

Found the products to be of good quality but BEWARE of overcharging as that was our experience . Unfortunately , it only appeared in our statement after our departure.

Our driver brought us to this particular shop as I wanted to look for a shirt for my father. He also mentioned that the shop sells premium batik quality & the designs are usually one-offs. Unfortunately, it was either that I liked a particular design but found the batik material to be hard or didn’t like the design but was OK with the material. So, opted not to get any. Besides, there was only 10% discount given for selected items & the prices were quite steep.
I remember the shop being very big & when we arrived, there were just a few customers inside. There was a large section for men’s & women’s attire & a “Souvenir & Knick-knacks” section too which had caught my attention. In the end, I ended buying a few sweet smelling bath soaps while my partner had bought a small coin pouch. Unfortunately, there were no discounts for both purchases.|
I had also broken my sandals & was looking to find a pair of shoes but Bali Bidadari Batik did not sell any. Fortunately, I had a spare & had to resort wearing it after taking them out from the luggage at the shop’s parking lot.
In the end, I’d say that it was quite a decent shop. The staff won’t harass you to buy & were quite sensitive of your personal space.

This is a very big batik shop but the sizing is limited. Only 10% discount on clothing. No AC in the shop so it was quite hot.

Bali Bidadari Batik has a few branches in Bali. Once you enter the premises, you will see ladies painting on the batik, weaving batik. It is quite interesting to see them handpainting the designs on the batik.
Once you go in, there are batik for men, women, and children. Prices are moderate to expensive but their designs are not available outside of their stores so there is uniqueness to what you are getting from them.
You also have the option to buy a plain shirt and have them paint on it on the spot.

The bakik factory was quite impressive as ladies could be seen painting on the piece of cloth at the entrance of the factory means the steps how the fabric is made. Inside the shop one can find all the ready made products and ready for sale. What was nice to know that the genuine batik never fade though after several times of washing.

The visit was a welcome one given that we were able to witness the actual weaving of batik cloth as well as handpainting of shirts just outside the store. The store in itself is impressive given the assortment of items that can be found aside from Batik clothing. There are shirts, fans, art works, souvenir items among others. An enjoyable visit it was.

We went to this place and loved it! The ladies are so talented. We went inside to the shop bought a couple of white t-shirts $12Aus, as well as a couple of small purses. Then we went outside and the lovely ladies paint on them, whatever you like. They have lots of designs you can choose from, or you can suggest something yourself. They even painted on the cotton bag l got my stuff in, and what a great job they did. Cheap way of getting some great gifts, you can only get in Bali. Highly recommend.
