We booked the cycling tour through our Ubud hotel, so we did not read reviews for booking this tour. Now i am doing it and i can see i am not the only person disappointed with the tour. First the good: we were picked up on time, the driver was very polite and the car was clean. After the cycling... More

We had a wonderful bike tour in the villages around Batur with Sobek. Thereto was great, peaceful with no other systole tours on the route. there were beautiful views and lots of stops for photos. out guide was fabulous too. The only negatives were the terrible food at the free breakfast included before the bike ride and the poor lunch... More

Exactly one week ago today, my husband and I participated in the Sobek cycling tour from Mount Batur in the morning (followed by white water rafting in the afternoon). We under took this tour during our last visit to Bali in 2005 and had thoroughly enjoyed the trip so much we were looking forward to a repeat. However! In 2005... More

Seeing the authentic Balinese people and their way of life is a must. Cycle downhill through many villages to see rice fields, temples, community houses, how everythings made, and more. Everyone is so friendly as they greet you with a 'Halo' and the kids love to reach out and give you high fives. THe land is so amazing. Some of... More

We enjoyed a marvelous day the scenery is amazing and we learned a lot about Fauna and Flora in Bali as well about the Kopi Luwak coffee. We also got picked up by the driver and our tour guide. Some minor downsides. The breakfast one could skip, the bikes and helmets are getting old and the tourguide was not fit... More

I totally agree with "Grandma Funk" regarding the biking tour!!! I first took this biking tour in l999, when it was a totally awesome ride through the ricefields, taking time to take pictures & generally winding our way through the villages & stopping to take pictures of temples etc. Things have changed throughout the years. Gone are the quiet roads... More

I'll skip the stuff about the coffee plantation and the 'breakfast' at the cafe overlooking Mt Batur, as others have covered that adequately - on to the cycling part. We are both regular cyclists in the UK so are well used to riding, but not like this. I don't know if this tour company varies its route, but I wasn't... More

A brilliant day with the sobek guys. Picked up from our hotel and driven to the tour, via a coffee producing and selling shop. A great breakfast overlooking a live volcano and then we were onto the starting point of the tour. Pretty much the whole day was in the rain but it didn't stop us all having a great... More

I would say this is a must do in bali. We were picked up at 730am. The van took us up to a mountain to taste luwak coffee. Then it was followed by morning tea at a restaurant over looking the volcano. Our guide mr.lucky guided the whole cycling tour. It was beautiful to cycled thru the village, paddy fields.... More

Two people from Taiwan-België and the Netherlands , the guide from Bali had a wonderful time on the bike tour.We stopped at the volcano for breakfast. Because we already tasted the coffee and tea in Bali we started our tour. Our guide give us a full explanation how to use our mountainbike. If there were difficult trails for riding we went on...
