attended the soap bars making class here in june this year.actually i noticed this soap making workshop for years, but during pandemic, cannot go to bali.this year, when border reopened,i decided to have a soap making class.i booked natural soap bars class via WA.and called gojek ride to the place, more convenient.the instrutor Ledu is very friendly and informative, he speaks good English.the class is both practical and theorical.first, the instructor will show you how to make a soap bar,he want me to choose the smell and colour,i chose lemongrass and orange colour.then he showed me how to make the soap.after that,he taught the theory of making soap, when finished,i finally can make soap bar with the help of him.for my soap bar,i chose peppermint smell and charcoal colour.as a beginner,it is not that easy, you have to control the tempo, cannot too slow. when everything’s done, normally you can take the bar home. cuz i will come to denpasar again,Ledu suggested me to take the soap bars back few days later.i followed what he suggested. when i went there again. Ledu cut the soap bar into pieces, he also let me have a try.besides,he gave me a bottle of liquor soap and two beautiful soap bars as a gift. wow! many thanks to him,and this make the class worth the value.hope i can learn from Ledu in the future again, also, hope i can try to make soap bars at home.i highly recommend the soap class Bali to everyone who loves hand made soap.

Spent the most amazing day with Ledu learning to make natural soaps. Ledu is extremely knowledgeable in soap making and explained all the steps patiently and clearly. It was so much fun. I made natural charcoal soap with peppermint essential oil, annatto seed with ylang ylang and Aust red clay soap with lavender essential oil. Will definitely be back for more člasses when I return to Bali. Thank you Ledu 🙏

Today I spent 3 hours with Ledu from Bali Soap Class. He was amazing! He had all the equipment needed and let me choose what essential oils and additives I wanted to use. He showed me how to make it first and then ran me through safety, equipment and the process of making soap. Easy as! I then calculated my own recipe and made my own soap! Ledu was a genuine guy who is easy to understand and follow. Hoping next time I visit Bali to do a liquid soap course.
If you get the chance go and do to! Roughly 850000 rupiah.

I completed the Cold Process Soap making class as well as basic cosmetics with Lip balm, Sugar/Salt Scrub and Body Balm over two days.

The instructor was great and made me feel at ease as I did the classes on my own, you also get to take home all the soap and products you made including the Soap mould which was fantastic.

The process is fairly simple but can be daunting due to the chemicals and measurements but after the course I think I can handle this easily.

Some Tips: make sure your driver has google maps as the apartment is in remote denpasar, also try to have the indonesian directions sent by Bali Soap Class for the driver as well, my Host organised my Gojek home.

Overall I had a great time in the course and is worth the money if you want to make your own.

I definitely recommend this class with Ledu. He has so much knowledge and enjoys what he does, which reflect in his teachings. He explained everything very thoroughly, and was patient when I asked lots of questions.
The end product you make is lovely.
Thank you for this experience, I will definitely be back for a different lesson on liquid soaps next time I visit Bali

I just loved attending the hard and liquid soap making course conducted by Ledu There was lots to discuss in the process and safety of soap making and Ledu was excellent explaining each stage. Well worth the money. Make sure you save some luggage space as I was surprised I had so much to take home with me. Approx. 10 bars of soap with a wooden mold and also some small bottles of liquid soap. I was picked up and dropped off from Ubud which was quite a distance away by Ledu's driver free of charge which was awesome. Thanks for a great class Ledu. I can't wait to come back to Bali to do his other classes.

Ledu and soap? They just literally twins.

I was really hesitating to enrol any professional soap class making because some people just not sincere enough to share their knowledge.
After few failed attempts doing it on my own, I just take a leap of faith and there was friendly Ledu greeting us with his loud and big smile - one of my best workshop class.

Ledu was guiding us step by step in theory and practice. After his lecture, I was able to do it properly. He was more than happy to share his knowledge and contacts. He was generous enough to share his soap bars. Smells delicious!

I’d definitely go and enrol another class if I got the chance again 🍀

I was looking for affordable soap making class in Bali and found this one. Didn't have much expectation at first, but it turned out to be so much fun. Ledu was very informative, expert, and patient. I have asked lots of questions after class until now and he is very helpful. I just took one basic class, but with Bali Soap Making class, you will find that making soap is actually easy and do-able. Thank you Ledu and team, hope to see you again next time :)

Always looking for new classes to do while in bali and i chanced upon this in Tripadvisor . Definitely a great choice . This workshop is held in a private residence . Comfortable & convenient .
The class is conducted by Mr Ledu , someone who totally knows his stuff , speaks english and bahasa indonesia , patient and helpful . He will teach you how to calculate the ingredients , discusses with you on possible ingredients , as well as various ideas on how to create your own soap. From this class , you will get to create and bring bAck your special creation plus the specially made wooden mould.
Go with the natural essential oils or artificial fragrances . Natural or artificial colouring . Get creative ! Have fun ! Cos i did !
