It's a small monastery, located a little away from Mussoorie. If visiting nearby areas, a trip to the monastery can be made.

There is nothing special about the monastery. You can include it in the circuit if you are planning to visit the Company garden. That way you can save some money. But otherwise it does not make sense to come all the way here from Mussoorie.

Beautiful. Quite. Scenic. Tibetian. Buddhist. Momos. This is how I can describe this place.
We had a pleasant time there. Guess what, it's also called the happy valley.

Visiting this temple is a must from the hustle bustle of tourists. The serenity of the temple fills you with calm. Breathtaking views of the valley makes it a place to spend time here.

You will find this place near Dalai hills. Its a tibetan temple situated near a tibetan colony and the best part is that you won't find much of crowd there which makes you feel in the peaceful environment and you can enjoy the view from there.
The view of the tibetaian colonies are the ones to watch from the top of the hill. The temple has a big balcony at the end of the hill which will give you the view the mountain ranges.

This lovely temple is located ‘at the end of the road’ as it were. You find it by taking the road between the two Buildings at the West End of the Mall aka The Library. It can be walked but the distance and the narrow road with the traffic suggest taking a taxi. At the intersection go down and around and Past the Tibetan School and just past the archway, if lucky you can park. The temple is to your left, and to your right is a small path leading up to the Buddha Statue and the 1000+ and more Prayer Flags. No fee to enter the Temple. You might want to read the information board to your Left and then Activate the long row of Prayer wheels. There is a small Stupa to you Left on exiting the Prayer wheels and couple of info boards. You can and perhaps should enter the Temple. The Views here are truly stunning and I find it hard not to imagine that perhaps I am in Tibet. I certainly would not consider going there as long as the invaders remain. The views can perhaps help in some small way to assist the Tibetan people not to forget their homeland to the north. After your Temple visit do consider walking up to the Buddha Statue and Prayer Flags.
