Library Bazaar is actually one end of the Mall Road. One can start their walk down the Mall Road at this point exploring various shops along the way.

It's the central chowk of Mussoorie. While the place has it's own vibe, it's too crowded over the weekends, holidays and evening. Very difficult to visit by your own car.

This is perhaps the entry point of Massoourie from Rishikesh. This place is really crowded through the day. Traffic congestion is very common here. Even at night, this place is full of people. Few food shops are good
You can get two wheelers on rent from this place. But please bargain as they quote unreasonable rates in begging to tourist but would settle for lower.

Small restaurants, vegetable shops, grocery shops, tea and coffee shops serving eggs are their in their low profile (cheaper rates) as compared to Kulri Bazar (Picture Palace) side. A bit more crowded due to exit point for Kempty Falls and Company Bagh. We purchased grocery and vegetables for our breakfast from here. We tried eggs Omelette fried in butter with tea at road side.

Library Chowk or bazar is the entry point of Mussorrie city, Mall Road and Kempty Fall. So it is congested any time of the year by vehicles, add to the general walking tourists. It is also called Gandhi Chowk with a standing statue of Mahatma Gandhi. View of Dehradun valley can be seen from here. Apart from this this chowk has many restaurants and some hotels.

The Gandhi chowk and one end of the Mall is the most crowded part of the Mall. There is always traffic jam and the place is highly polluted. A good restaurant exists- Laxmi Msithan Bhandar which makes the best Chole Bhature and Samosa in the town. The library and band stand is also close by.

The library view at Gandhi Chowk is a must-visit place when you travel to Mussoorie.
We were a group of 4 friends and enjoyed a lot at this place.
The view is exceptionally awesome and is a great tourist attraction.

We went in June, the weather was so pleasant, it touched almost low of 20 degrees. Kids had to wear light jackets as we experienced rain with wonderful cool breeze. Good quality food restaurants available at mall road. Carnival cinemas is also there. One can sit on benches for hours and at one restaurant you can get hot kesar and pista milk in kulhad(earthen cup). You cannot get enough of Mall road even visiting daily for days.

This is the main point of entrance to Mussoorie. It is named so for obvious reasons. The city library for Mussoorie is right in front as you get here. On the left hand there is good parking space for both 2 as well as 4 wheelers, however with the surging tourist vehicles not enough.
From library chowk, 3 roads emerge, one is the library road which is dotted with many hotels. The second one goes from the right hand side to the taxi & bus stand(Kempty bus stand- One may take the bus to Kempty falls from here). The third one is on the shrap U-turn which is the "The Mall Road". Entry of 4 wheelers is prohibited on the mall road during the day.
