A small shop on the main Mall Road that sells regular Indian ice cream. It's important to note that this is NOT the authentic Turkish ice cream. This is regular Indian ice cream, with the added "tricks". I tasted the simple Vanilla flavor, which was ok. The price was Rs 299/- which is hefty, considering it was only vanilla, but I guess this was more for the tricks than the taste!

Turkish ice cream is also known as "dondurma", which means "freezing" in Turkish. It is a famous delicacy known for being dense, stretchy, and chewy, and is usually eaten with a knife and fork. The original Turkish ice creams are famously served by vendors that perform tricks with the stretchy ice cream.

Area is closed for vehicles, only rickshaws are available for movement or go walking. Lots of different shops and eateries in the area. But product costs are high in the area, like any type of mementos are cheaper at Company garden or Landor. Its best to visit to go strolling in the evening.

A stroll through Mall Road can be both a walk thro chaos and noise and also a throwback to a smaller town market vibe, where everything from a Bindi packet and household goods to shoes and clothes are available. Starbucks and a small jalebi samosa wala coexist. It has been maintained fairly well , though it does need to be cleaner. Pebble Street restaurant reviewed separately, offers excellent food

A 2 km long strech full of good food and shopping.

A lot of highs and lows - people with kids and elderly might face trouble. The mall starts with some local shopping and extends till good value money brands. The weather will always surprise you.

The Mall Road is a must-visit destination in Mussoorie, offering a vibrant mix of shopping and delicious street food. While it can be crowded, the lively ambiance and variety of activities make it well worth a visit. You can also take a cable car from Mall Road to Gun Hill for breathtaking views. Additionally, the Tibetan Market, located nearby, offers a diverse range of clothing and other unique items.

The mall road is a disaster. Mussorie being such a beautiful hill station with amazing weather , the entire experience gets spoiled when walking on the mall road. Traffic on both sides, construction on the road, overcrowded and too many unnecessary shops. Coming from Mumbai, we expected better

I found this place highly overrated as the products sold on footpath stalls are also costly. I found two of the vendor's behaviour bad and derogatory for the tourists. However, it can't be generalized. But it has old place vibe which is worth watching. You can see a view of dehradun city from the Mall road.

Located at the heart of Mussoorie city and center of tourists gathering. The Mall Road stretches from Picture Palace at one end to the Library at other end. The Mall is famous for picturesque viewpoints providing nice views of the Doon valley. Benches and lampposts are fixed at every viewpoint at the Mall. Colonial style houses kept reminding of the British architecture. The Mall Road houses several restaurants, shops, apparel stores, hotels, street hawkers and hence always lively and crowded. The leisurely stroll in mall road as part of the crowd couple with munching snacks and shopping was enjoyable. Tourist vehicles are not allowed in Mall road, hence we had to take ricksaw for hotel transfer from Library end. It is a must visit place

The Mall is major attraction in Mussoorie. Almost every visitor of Mussoorie walks on the beautiful and happening Mall Road which stretches almost 2km from Kulri Bazar, Picture Palace at east side to the Gandhi Statue , Library at the west side. The height of the Mall Road is around 2000m. Vehicles are not allowed on The Mall from 4:30pm to 10:30pm. We paid 150/- to enter after 10:30pm. Everything is there what you expect on The Mall of a hill station. Restaurants, Coffee shops, Fast food counters; readymade garments, woollens, jackets, handlooms; wood articles & utility items, showpieces, toys, electronics, modern buys; games, video parlours, Hotels, Resorts, religious worship places - whatever you think of is available on The Mall. Road side vendors selling pop corns, local fruits are also there. One can spend hours here without tiring. Views of Dehradoon in day time and in night with illuminating lights are amazing. All hills are with green covers of trees. Do not forget to take warm cloths as cool breeze always there to hurt to in shadows. Kadhai Milk in Kulladh (clay glass) at Mussoorie Sweet Shop near Picture Palace is a must have drink.
