the view of city from gun hill amazing. you can take maggie from restaurant at normal price. enjoy ropeway. shanidev temple is good. many shops there. and weather was cool in summers.

Gun hill is just above the mall road in mussorrie.The view of the mountains and the city was awesome.Their are many hotel at the gun hill and the view from them was very beautiful.

i will recommend you this place only if you want to experience ropeway ride.. Apart from this couples avoid this place .. Overcrowded with huge families and kids.. Uff

It's just beautiful. You get to see the Mussoorie city clearly from the top as well as Dehradun valley. Beautiful place. Must try the rope ways.

To the best of my knowledge, it's about 7000 ft ASL. Gun Hill about 300 ft higher than the Mall road. I would suggest to go to Lal Timba, rather than Gun Hill.
