a calm road in hills, a church on the bend

Everything you see when walking on a beautiful road looks beautiful, while walking in cold weather on a empty road a small historic church at the bend becomes a photo point.

Beautiful church

Located right on the middle of number '8' shaped road of Upper Chukkar in Landour, the beauty of this church can't be missed. It is built in Gothic architectural style and named after Dr. Samuel Kellogg, an American missionary who helped develop Landour.

The church, established as a Presbyterian church in 1903 is named after Rev, Dr. Samuel H. Kellogg, an American Presbyterian missionary who worked in Landour. He wrote the grammar of Hindi, in English. On the Church premise was the Landour Language School where British people were taught Hindi. The school is still functional.

Just a bend

Near the bend a small church standing there for a long time, usually no one notices this one, somewhere it has lost its touch, still, it looks beautiful and standing tall without complaining.

This is on the way to 3 sisters, so stop on the way and visit the church. get a different experience, i.e. British and imagine when this was in early 20th Century
