An overrated road. Okay to take a walk if you are in the vicinity of the company garden. Unfortunately tourists had thrown empty water bottles in the otherwise clean road

This is accessible by walk / cycle rickshaw and couple of kms from the Gun hill ropeway point. We walked all the way through and we were surprised to see this on the opposite side of the valley. There are couple of shops selling snacks and you would need some assistance to spot the camel rock :) I think everyone would think it is on the valley side, but actually, this is on the opposite side, viewed only by sitting down and focused. The walk to the place is enjoyable with valley views all through

This unique rock formation looks like a Camel. Hence the road is named Camel's Back road. It is difficult to make out the shape but once you look very carefully you can make out the shape. It is near the telescopic point and for a small sum you can also look at it from the telescope.

You will be disappointed if you had to spend time and money merely to see a rock known as Camel's Back as there is nothing special about it and you may even fail to spot it of your own. However, if you take the road leading to camel Rock you may enjoy views of mountains and things around.
I bet that if you are not assisted with someone you will miss the so called Camel Back. I still suspect that something like that exists

Nice little walk. The view is also what you see from the car, however its just like a short walk away from the buzy mall road which brings the change.

The Camel Rock is an amazing structure in the shape of Camel Back which can be seen from the middle of Camel Back Road. We visited the place in the evening and it was little dark but we could manage to see the Camel Rock. Camel back road is normally used by the local people for morning and evening walk. One can reach to the camel back road through Mall road. There is one road which goes up from mall road near rope way station to Cambridge book Depot and the road which is adjacent to Cambridge book depot, goes down to Camel back road. I would recommend this place to visit.

One goes to the Camel's Back Road. There is aperson with a telescope. He shows through the telescope a rock (hardly visible) shaped like a camel. Utter waste of time.
