Hire a rickshaw from Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple to Vishram Ghat and negotiate a fixed price for a round trip. The rickshaw driver will wait for you at the ghat. The boat ride will cost Rs. 150 for 2 people, but it's advisable to bargain with the boat operators. During the boat ride, you can enjoy views of the Kans Quilla, and the boat trip also includes a visit to Dwarikadheesh Temple. Therefore, there's no need to visit the temple separately, as the boat will drop you at the ghat and wait for your return.

Visit to Vishram Ghat can be combined with Dwarkadish Temple as both are nearby and at walking distance of less than 5 minutes.

It's in narrow bylanes so better reach by auto or walking ...Parking of vehicles won't be easy.

Plenty of options to enjoy street food, rabdi, lassi etc.

The actual ghat is very dirty I didn't feel like dipping my hands in the water.I was thier just for few minutes.

Needs to be maintained and cleanliness should be taken on priority.

The river bank was interesting to visit. At night time about 7pm brings crowds of people. Music is played and people flock to the boats to celebrate religious history.
This place is an authentic ( not tourist) part of India and we enjoyed having a wander. In the day we had a boat trip for about 10 - 15 min ( 100r)
Mathura was interesting but perhaps ideal for a 1 night stop over.

We visited in evening for witnessing the Yamuna Aarti. Its suggested to assemble atleast 15-20 mins beforehand to get a suitable place to sit. The Aarti started at 7pm and ended in 15 mins and is very average and nothing compared to Haridwar/Kashi. Visiting here just for witnessing the Aarti is not worth the time and effort.

The Vishram Ghat has a very crowded approach and e-rickshaw /walking is the best way to reach here. Rickshaws charge around 10-15 per head from Krishna Janmbhoomi. Visit to Dwarkadhish Temple can be combined with Vishram Ghat as both are nearby.

Situated at congested Chatta market but very clean small ghat. Many small temples around. Surprised to see river is just flowing through heart of city. You can reach by Rickshaw.

The place remains crowdy all throughout the year. It is said that Lord Krishna took rest on this ghat after killing his maternal uncle, Kansa. One can perform yajna here and also enjoy boat-rides.

It is the main ghat of Mathura and is central to 25 other ghats. The traditional parikrama starts and ends at Vishram Ghat. Lord Krishna is said to have rested at this place after killing Kansa.
If you visiting mathura then this place has to be in your bucket list or must place to visit in mathura.
Next to dwarikadhish temple on walking distance.
Boat ride is must and beware of monkeys.
Hardly they charge 20 rs to 50 rs per person for boat ride.

If you like to be with your self and the nature, the right time is @ Morning at Sun rise. Also the best time to be away from the rush and crowd.
