We did Goverdhan parikrama. It takes 6 hrs to do the same. Goverdhan is non different from Lord Krishna hence it is not recommended to climb the hill or touch with our feet.

I did the Parikrama of Govardhan hill during this Kartik month, the month of Kartik is considered as very pious, during this time many festivals do take place in Vrindavan. However, it was not so easy for me, the total Parikrama Marg is of 23km long and one needs to complete it by walking bare feet. I had no problem... More

It is just a waste of time, money and manpower to visit this place. Nothing to see here, which I realised after being fooled !

When we compare this temple with what it was 10 yrs before then you will know that priests have looted it. They charge for everything here. Rest all is ok.

The Govardhan hill is the one which Krishna lifted on his tiny finger to protect the villagers. After this incident Krishna was called Giridhar and Govardhan as Giriraj. People do parikrama around the hill on foot, by car or rickshaws. Parikrama starts at Daan Ghaati. Here Milk is offered to the Gods. It is very beautiful.
