Himalaya Shelter was established in the year 2013 by our founder Bachan Rana. Safety, a sense of service & sustainability are our core values, ingrained in our way of working. We are a team of 30+ individuals, connected by a shared passion for the mountains. Treks in Uttarakhand and Kashmir are a forte of Himalaya Shelter & we are trying to venture out into new avenues with each passing day.

Kedarkantha Trek really told me what my body is capable of, because it may be very tough for beginners.

It was my first trek. The food was unexpected. I didn't expect quality food on top hills. Himalayan shelter works really hard to provide us best food. The guides were also very supportive. Just take very little stuff with you while trekking.

Mesmerizing trek to Dayara Bugyal

Had booked a private trek with Himalaya Shelter for my anniversary. Team from Himalaya Shelter was most helpful and did everything they could to maximize our experience. They were careful to all our needs right from the start to the end of the trek. Cant thank them enough for making my anniversary so special.

If you want to best food and services at one place then go with himalayan shelter.

I recently had the pleasure of trekking with a fantastic company, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From start to finish, the team at this trekking company provided top-notch service and ensured that every aspect of the trip was enjoyable and memorable.

One of the highlights of the trip was the food, which was absolutely delicious and always served with a smile. Each meal was carefully prepared and included a variety of options that catered to everyone's dietary needs and preferences. I was truly impressed with the quality of the food and the effort that went into making each meal a culinary delight.

I would also like to give a special shoutout to Shubodh, who was one of the team members on the trek. Shubodh went above and beyond to ensure that everyone in our group was comfortable and had everything they needed.

I totally recommend Himalaya shelter

I really had an amazing experience with Himalaya shelter. Treck leader tripan Singh was an experienced and skilled enough to lead a trecking team.
Food was really tasty, really enjoyed rice, dal, papad, salid, mix sabji and one gulab jamun under the sky filled with stars.
And in last something was extraordinary as we three guys were allotted the back seats of the Max cab while returning and we said we can't sit on the back seats because of the motion sickness due those mountain roads.
For this, the Himalaya shelter Allotted us a separate traveller bus Just for three of us.
