The view from the bridge is good you will love it. The only problem I faced was the bridge is hardly 5ft wide and people are driving their two wheelers in the bridge it's not good

We used the Bridge to cross and go to the other side of the river and took a boat to return back to the original side of the river. It was awesome journey both ways.

a suspension bridge across the Ganges that gently sways in the wind. A prime attraction in Rishikesh town. offers an unhindered view of the Ganges. Guaranteed to be crowded always.

It's just a short bridge, beggars at either end, and loads of scooters riding across it! Yeah it does give great uncompromised views of the Ganges, but your across in 20 seconds providing you don't get hit by a motorbike! The best bits are the shops either side which are super cool and super cheap!
