- Alokita DHyderabad District, India1 contributionHappy to buy a beautiful piece of art from Mahadev's NagriWe loved the beautiful paintings made by Ruchika Mam and we bought an eye-catching painting of Lord Shiva. Ruchika Mam also beautifully explained us the significance behind the paintings which was lovely. We are so happy to take a beautiful piece of art from Kaashi to our home. Looking forward to buy more of her paintings.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 September 2023
- john o17 contributionsTrip to Ruchika's Art Gallery in Varanasi.Ruchika's art work and gallery is a credit to her. After selecting 4 paintings, 2 for our home and 2 for our daughters, Ruchika told us the meaning behind each piece. This made them even more impressive. The art works are perfect as an affordable gift. They are also special pieces of art work. Not only do they have a hidden meaning, they will give us many fond memories of Varanasi, as well as Indian culture. We look forward to framing them and displaying them in our home back in Australia. - vivek a1 contributionStunning Artwork!I had searched about Ruchika Art Gallery before my trip, and ensured to visit the Gallery during my trip to Varanashi. Ms Ruchika had a great collection and she explained about the paintings and their significance. I requested for a customized painting of Ghats for delivery to Dubai. I just received the work and it exceeds my expectations. Highly recommended! VivekVisited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 November 2023

She is thoroughly connected to her roots and knows the in and out of Varanasi. That essence reflects in all her art. I am so happy that I bought art that will stay with me for life. Blessings of Shiva, Sati and Hanuman ji is invaluable. I will carry Varansi with me in spirit wherever I go. Thank you Ruchika. 3 hours flew by. You love what you do. I often travel to India and specially Varanasi. A visit to Ruchika is a special time to improve our knowledge about indian deites through Ruchika Paintings and also her teachings about indian gods. Their friendship to me and my friends, Ruchika and her husband Sandeep, is always a very good Varanasi's side.
Thanks for all

This place is a scam. She charged us Rs 100 for entry and I can see in review that she has charged Rs 50 a month ago.
I did not learn anything new from my visit. The intent is to sell the paintings and not explain the history of kasi. Previous reviews are misleading and so is the trip advisor positioning.

This cozy gallery is located in a small alley close to Varanasi university. Ruchika showed us around the gallery and gave many explanations about the painting techniques and meanings of the pictures painted by her and her teachers/students. The atmosphere is very warm and homely. Prices of the paintings seem reasonable. Relatively cheap courier service to your home country is available in case you cannot carry the painting with you. Highly recommended if you’re interested in art and getting connected to local people!

My 1st visit to Varanasi would have been incomplete if I wouldnt have visited Ruchika Art Gallery for the mesmerising handmade paintings depicting the soul of the ghats and the city Kashi. Each piece was a masterwork and it was impossible to decide which one you wanted her to give it to you. Ruchika was throughout humble and patient in making us understand the painting we shortlisted. I would recommend each tourist to visit her art gallery which which show you a very unique side of this city which she has captured in her work.
