It’s touristy outside the sites, so the town of Sarnath is nothing special. small, dirty, etc. But to be in the garden and the stupas where the Buddha spoke, to see the temples and the museum... these are absolutely worth doing

the road to reach sarnath is very bad. Local auto transportation will hurt your back. With the bumpy ride you may feel like vomiting. not recommended unless you really want to visit. Difficult to travel by your car due to narrow roads and traffic.

How the driver would get his services listed on Trip Advisor, I would not know. Usually, Trip Advisor only lists hotels and eating establishments and local sights etc.,
