We could not find this place easily but this is very holy place and can be visited at-least once with friends.

Kashi Jangamawadi math one of the ancient mutts in Varanasi. Situated in the heart of the city, this mutt has long history dating back to many centuries. Pilgrims especially from Karnataka prefer to stay here as it can accommodate more than 1000 devotees. very nearby to Kashi Sri Vishwanth Temple. One can go to this mutt at any time in the year without much worrying about the reservation as it is a Hindu Veerashiva Lingayath Math and they welcome people of all communities and rooms or halls based on the availability will be given. Devotees are served " "Prasad" in the afternoon and nights. Some devotees from north karnataka, not only bring their own food but also share the same with others. It is surprising and proud to note that a Karnataka based community is having its presence in a holy city like Varanasi from centuries. Jangawadi Math is a holy place in a holy city.

Jangamwadi Math is is known also as Jnana Simhasana or Jnana Peetha. Jangam means the one who knows Shiva and Peetha is a word used for ashram or a place to stay.

Its basically a religious place so anybody anytime can visit. There are plenty of rooms, more than Hundred, which will be given to you as per the size of the group. We cannot reserve as we do for hotels.
