We were able to contact Priya lwo days in advance of our visit to Varanasi and schedule an afternoon walking tour and evening boat ride on the Ganges with no problem. She was responsive and helpful, and when we met her for our trou I knew right away this would be something special. She led us through her neighborhood, old north Varanasi and offered us insights into the people, history, buildings, and customs. Despite a rising thunderstorm, the boat ride and evening aarti was an amazing experience and she was so accommodating to our needs. Getting to speak with such a knowledgeable and friendly local was definitely the high point of our 2-week trip! Thank you, Priya - Eve & Andrea

I arranged my airport transfers, walking tour, boat trips and day tour to Sarnath with Varanasi Women Tours - Priya - and was so delighted. Everything was clear and explained and tailored to my schedule and interests. Not to mention excellent value for money. The afternoon walking tour and night time boat and aarti were just perfect. Priya is such a warm, friendly and knowledgeable guide. We chatted happily and she allowed me plenty of time to take photos and see things as we explored the northern part of the town with all its narrow alleyways. And the lassi and Blue lassie was delicious! Our boatman was excellent and positioned us right up front for the aarti ceremony. We also arranged him for a morning boat trip and that was the highlight of my time. So peaceful watching the city wake up as the sun rose. The day trip to Sarnth was great (shame about the traffic) and I was given all the time I wanted to meditation, contemplate and soak up the atmosphere of this holy place. To top it all off, Priya invited me to lunch with her and her family, which was so yum and lovely to chat with her further, while I had a beautiful mehindi (henna) done. The airport transfers were prompt and hassle free. Highly recommend anyone to organise their time with Priya and team. Thank yo so much Priya, my new sister in India!

Wow, my time with Priya was such a blast. She was recommended to me by a friend who had had a wonderful time with her. Priya is not only very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient, she’s also an inspiration. She’s a female entrepreneur who supports other women and helps those in the community who are struggling. Priya showed me so much in one day, but I never felt overwhelmed or tired. It was planned out very well. And to top it off, she invited me over to dinner at home with her wonderful family. I can’t recommend Priya and her company enough. Book with her ASAP for an amazing experience. Thank you, Priya!

I have been to Varanasi several times which is one of my most favourite cities in the world but had never taken my family there. Finally I planned a family trip but unfortunately I had to cancel my trip due to some business. My family was going to travel alone and I was a bit worried about them. I had used Mr. Nandan from Groovy Tours as my guide in 2013 when I travelled to Varanasi hence I contacted him for some suggestion and he introduced me to his wife who runs Varanasi Women Tours. I think it was the best decision I made for my family trip to Varanasi. Priya, Nandan's wife, organised everything very well, my daughter felt sick maybe because of street food she had in Delhi and Priya organized a doctor to come to visit her in the hotel and everything went very well afterwards. I can't recommend Nandan and Priya enough. if you are also planning to visit Varanasi then you should also consider getting in touch with them. It was just an amazing experience and I will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi. Thanks again Nandan and Priya 🙏🙏

I was a bit worried about coming to Varanasi as a solo female traveler but found Varanasi Women Tours (run by women for women) which motivated me to visit this ancient city. I must say that my whole impression about India being a rough country for women changed after I met with Priya (my guide). I really enjoyed my time being with Priya without facing any kind of harrassment (She handled everything for me). We went for boat rides, walking tours, shopping and a lot more activities. I would especially like to mention one thing that Priya was not like other Indian guides who force you to go for shopping but she was also very helpful to find the best shop whenever I wanted. I was so impressed with her services that I decided to go to Sarnath with her husband Nandan who was just amazing. Nandan is an authorized guide by Indian tourism ministry and runs his own business. I can't write enough to express my experience, just one sentence is enough- you must try these guys, they are just awesome, highly recommended!
