Kintur, is near Barabanki. There are a many ancient temples around this place. Near a temple established by Kunti, is a special tree called Parijaat which is said to grow from Kunti's ashes. Another saying being, that Lord Krishna brought this tree for queen Rukmini.

Waste of time to go so far off from city. The tree has only a symobolic value for those who believe the ancient story.

Strange but true...Was attracted to visit this place because of folklore ....not very well connected and can be termed as remotely located.
