Parijat Tree located at Kintur village near Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh) is the only one of its kind in the entire country. it is said that the tree is almost 5000 years old, making it an ancient treasure of sorts.

Kintur, is near Barabanki. There are a many ancient temples around this place. Near a temple established by Kunti, is a special tree called Parijaat which is said to grow from Kunti's ashes. Another saying being, that Lord Krishna brought this tree for queen Rukmini.

Waste of time to go so far off from city. The tree has only a symobolic value for those who believe the ancient story.
