I got a custom rug done in 2017 during our trip to Agra,India. During the pandemic Yogesh reached out to me & asked if I needed any rugs as the artisans were out of work as this is their sole livelihood. Since then I bought 2 more big rugs & also ordered 3 more custom rugs & one custom tapestry. They are honest, considerate & easy to work with. Yogesh sends me updates as the rugs are being woven over 3-9 months depending on the size. Highly recommend without reservation.

I first met Yogi in 2019 when I was in Agra and had a wonderful experience learning about the rug making industry from him. I purchased a rug then, and just worked with him, remotely, to purchase a new rug. The customer service and quality of rugs are both outstanding!! Highly recommend using them.

I visited as part of my tour to the Taj Mahal and Agra. I was on a solo tour so had the full demonstration to myself and with Yogi and the team there. Was very special to see the artisans at work and also be encouraged to participate and get a feel for how these beautiful carpets are made. So much work by hand to create these masterpieces. And mainly done through a community co-op. I really felt the sense of how much Yogi cared for this industry and all the craftsmanship that goes into it.

Then on to the showroom. So many beautiful carpets. I told myself to keep an open mind and if I liked one and it fit my budget, why not. I finally decided on a co temporary design. We had some fun in negotiating a price. And sealed the deal. Yogi asked when I was as returning to the US and the he told me he would arrange it to arrive back when I do. Well 10 days later, I arrive home in the morning and sure enough my carpet arrived at lunchtime. By the way, they have you sign the back of your carpet after buying so you can be sure to receive exactly the carpet you purchased.

The best part of the experience besides have a beautiful piece of art that I can remember my trip, is the kindness land hospitality from Yogi and the team there. Really outstanding and exceptional value!!! Thank you Yogi!!

I was blown away by the quality of these hand knotted rugs. Spoilt for choice by size , colour, patterns and the quality of these rugs. Coming from New Zealand and a preference for merino wool I found it very educational. From humble beginnings a hand knotted rug happens.

Hint: make sure you know what size, colour and pattern you want before you leave home. Staff were very helpful and the rug does arrive safely in your own country.

We had a wonderful time when we visited Kalra's Cottage Industry in Agra. It was intriguing to see the great piles of wool and skilled craftspeople at work. We chose the style and colours for our rug, paid for it and returned to Australia. While the rug arrived a little later than we'd first hoped, we were kept informed of progress by Kalra's. The rug has arrived today and it is absolutely beautiful. This is craftsmanship of the highest order and we are lucky to own this piece.

Our guide took us here, and the sales pitch was very slick. Got a nice free beer out of the experience. I don’t know what the quality of the carpets are there - they looked plenty nice. For a 2.5x6 foot runner, the salesman first said it would cost 700, but eventually went down to 350. We walked away, feeling pressured. Later, we thought more about his claims that we allowed to slide in the moment. A carpet made of pashmina? Doesn’t make sense - true pashmina is very expensive, and too thin for a carpet. If that’s not true, I don’t know what other claims are true or not (handmade? Natural dyes?). I would avoid.

After visiting the Taj we had some time left to go and look for a carpet. Our driver took us to Yogesh. And he understood what we were looking for. He made all the arrangements and less than two weeks later the carpet arrived in Holland.Very well wrapped . Mind that you have to pay some taxis when getting it to the official way into your country .We had to pay 200 Euro extra getting into Holland.
It was also nice that Yogesh showed us how carpets are made .So we learned something as well .

Very disappointed with outcome of expensive runner we purchased. Colours we specified in shop not even close to what we received (2 months later then promised). When we complained they offered to send a “small rug” as compensation I am assuming also with incorrect colours to match the runner that does not fit our decor. We asked for replacement of runner with correct colours as per our contract. No response. Buyer beware!

The carpets and rugs here are of the best quality and an epitome of fine craftsmanship. Every piece worthy of being the centrepiece of any elegant decor. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous.
