This is a beautiful example of a British Raj church. It is very looked after and the inside is a joy. It is not hard to find as it is in the Cantonment area. You can get permission to go inside locally as it is locked generally. Inside are commerations to various officers and other ranks who died in battle or otherwise whilst serving in India

Visited twice for worship. Warmest of welcomes. Fascinating architecture. It looks like a small St Paul's outside the walls in Rome when inside. Note the holes in the pews provided for soldiers to stand guns!

St Georges Anglical cathedral is beautiful to see with lots of carving in marble especially the bishop's chair- the cathedra. It is poignant to see the memorials to those who died during the colonial era, especially when they were children who died from disease. Enjoyed looking at the pews with the notches for placing a rifle for the soldiers. Beautiful Holy altar in white marble.
