A grand structure of Sikh Prayer place (Gurudwara) holding a big place in the history of India both in the national history and the progress of Sikhism as a religion. worth visiting both for its structure and the spirit of helping the average citizen through its LANGAR which is open to ALL thereby showing the spirit of Indian culture of Peaceful CO-EXISTENCE.

I don’t remember much about the architecture of this place: What I do remember though is the smiles on the faces of the volunteers as they worked to prepare food for others. If you ever have the opportunity, take the time to tour the community kitchen and help make food for those who need it. The world would be a better place if there were more places like this!

Did you get a chance to stay overnight in a room at this Gurudwara. Can you share some information regarding the process to book a room at Gurudwara Guru ka Tal. Usually how much to pay for getting a room. Are the rooms good with attached bathroom. Thank you in advance.

Beautiful Gurudwara - significant part of Sikh history. This was the place where Guru Teg Bahadur Saheb ji was doing his tapasya, when he was captured and taken to Delhi. In Delhi on his refusal to convert to Islam, he was martyred. It is said that whatever you wish for, comes true. Please do not forget to visit Bora Saheb, the place where Guru Teg Bahadur Sahebji was kept under surveillance for 9 days. In a separate building there is also the manja Saheb, where weapons of those times can be seen. The lawns around the Gurudwara are beautiful and well-maintained. Must go.

Being a non religious person, i was blessed to visit there. In agra wherever you go, you were asked to pay loads of money to see taj mahal, agra fort and other places. But this is the only place where you were given free food with much respect and dignity whether you belong to sikh or hindu or any other religion. And food Quality and taste is just uncomparable especially when u are having food with so many people from around india and world. Gurudwara is much clean and maintained (even more than taj mahal and agra where you can see people smoking even (public place)). You ll get eternal peace here. They have ample parking space and really very well maintained.
Must must visit in Agra. You really feel relaxed and much better than taj mahal and any other place.
