I had an overnight stay at the Doubletree Hilton in Agra who arranged this tour for me from the hotel. Driver plus guide from the hotel. My pick up was at 1230 an I arrived back at the hotel just after 3 pm.
I was travelling alone, so the 2,5 hours that I had to visit the Taj Mahal grounds and inside was more than adequate.
My guide Rehan was 1st class.
From start to finish he was excellent. Both nowledgeable and personable, he guided me through the tour and provided me with exactly what I needed. Not too much and not too little - his ability to understand and gage what I was interested in was spot on.
From my experience - and I have travelled a lot, this is quite rare. Rehan simply gave me all the options in terms of additional tours, provided the relevant information, without over or underselling and let me decide what I prefered to do.
As I was travelling alone, this was a smooth afternoon for me and a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
I can imagine that if I was travelling in a group and with company, Rehan would cater accordingly and no doubt the tour would have been longer and perhaps encorporating more, but equally as well.
I would have no doubt in recommending this tour guide to either groups or solo travellers.
